Elabela is a newly discovered peptide in recent years.It is the endogenous ligand of Apelin receptor(APJ)and plays an important role in embryonic development and adult organs.Elabela-APJ axis is closely related to organ fibrosis.Elabela can protect the functions of heart and kidney by antagonizing renin-angiotensin system and regulating blood pressure.In addition,it can prevent kidney and heart fibrosis by down-regulating the expression of fibrosis and inflammatory factors.However,there is a positive correlation between the level of Elabela and the degree of liver fibrosis,suggesting that Elabela may play a role in promoting liver fibrosis.This review aims to explore the role of Elabela-APJ axis in renal fibrosis,cardiac fibrosis,and liver fibrosis,and to provide a new therapeutic target for organ fibrosis.With the upsurge of medical artificial intelligence,the use of computer vision technology to study medical images,which can effectively help doctors to identify and screen diseases,has become a focus of researchers.This paper summarizes the basic situation,specific information,related research,and data sharing and utilizing ways of foreign breast image datasets.This review provides inspirations for the opening of Chinese medical and health data.In eukaryote cells,transcription from genome DNA is a key process of gene expression.The transcription products contain not only messenger RNAs that code proteins,but also various types of non-coding RNAs.During transcription,some of the gene loci produce more than one kind of RNA molecule,including coding RNAs and more often non-coding RNAs.These gene loci that generate several kinds of RNA molecules are named supergenes.According to the transcription pattern,supergenes are divided into three types,known as types Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ.In this review,we summarize the transcription pattern of each type of supergene,and exposit the role of these genes in cells.Targeted therapy is an important therapeutic method for advanced non-small cell lung cancer with driver gene alteration.However,resistance to targeted therapy will inevitably happen in clinical practice,which has become a major issue demanding prompt solution.Studies have demonstrated that bypass resistance mediated by the activation of hepatocyte growth factor(HGF)/mesenchymal-epithelial transition factor(MET)signaling pathway is a common cause of resistance to targeted therapy.Presently,relevant studies have accumulated rich experience in the specific mechanisms.To be brief,HGF/MET is an important target for overcoming the resistance to targeted therapy and promises to be a leading biomarker for judging and observing the occurrence of resistance.This paper introduces the recent studies concerning the effects and mechanisms of HGF/MET signaling pathway on resistance to targeted therapy.Gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)can cause blood glucose disorders in pregnant women and result in adverse maternal-neonatal outcomes.Vitamin D(VD)can improve glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity,and thus theoretically,VD supplementation during pregnancy could improve glycemic control as well as maternal-neonatal outcomes in GDM patients.Although studies have shown that VD deficiency is associated with poor maternal-neonatal outcomes in GDM patients,no solid conclusion has been drawn with regard to the effects of VD supplementation on these patients.Therefore,here we summarized the research progress of the effects of VD supplementation on glycemic control and adverse maternal-neonatal outcomes in GDM patients,in an effort to guide the clinical VD supplementation during pregnancy.Objective To investigate the clinicopathological features and prognosis of chromophobe renal cell carcinoma(ChRCC). Methods The clinical and pathological data of 126 patients with ChRCC treated in Cancer Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences were retrospectively analyzed. Results The patients included 64 males and 62 females,with the age of 22-80 years(median of 52 years).The tumor was located on the right side in 70 cases and on the left side in 56 cases.Ultrasound,CT or magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)were performed.Of the 110 cases receiving ultrasound examination,63,23,13,10,and 1 cases showed hypoecho,hyperecho,isoecho,uneven or mixed echo,and dark hypoecho,respectively.Color Doppler flow imaging showed no blood flow signal in 42 cases and low blood flow signal in 60 cases out of 68 cases with blood flow signal.Among the 54 cases receiving CT,50 cases showed equal density or low density and 4 cases showed high density with clear boundary.The enhanced scanning showed mild to moderate uniform or n CK7,and 97.6%(83/85)for colloidal iron.Conclusions ChRCC is less common,with low level of malignancy and good prognosis.Since the clinical symptoms of ChRCC are not typical,MRI is an important means of imaging differential diagnosis,and the disease can be confirmed depending on pathological diagnosis.Surgery is the preferred treatment method,and currently there is no standard treatment regimen for metastatic patients.Objective To explore the effect of dexmedetomidine(Dex)on sevoflurane-induced cognitive impairment in neonatal rats through Wnt signaling pathway. Terephthalic Methods Sixty 7-day-old SD rats were assigned into five groupscontrol group(without any intervention),Dex group(intraperitoneal injection of 25 μg/kg Dex),sevoflurane group(3% sevoflurane treatment for 4 hours),sevoflurane+Dex group(inhalation of 3% sevoflurane after injection of 25 μg/kg Dex for 4 hours),and sevoflurane+Dex+Wnt inhibitor group(Wnt inhibitor XAV393 and 25 μg/kg Dex were injected and 3% sevoflurane was inhaled for 4 hours).Three weeks later,Morris water maze was used to detect the cognitive function;TdT-mediated dUTP nick end labeling(TUNEL)staining was performed to detect the apoptosis of hippocampal neurons;neuronal nuclei (NeuN) staining was conducted to detect the survival of hippocampal neurons;Western blot was carried out to detect the expression of apoptosis-related proteins.The expression of the factors involved in Wnt/GSK-3β/β-catenin signat=5.510,P=0.005). Conclusion Dex can mediate Wnt/GSK-3β/β-catenin signaling pathway to inhibit sevoflurane-induced cognitive impairment in neonatal rats.
