The Tax Specialist position is responsible for oversight and management of all Association tax related filing and reporting. This is an accounting support position in a fast paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Oversee and manage a portfolio of Branch Office.
• Retrieve all documents requested for tax preparation and audits.
• Track each association by maintaining Tax Filing.
• Oversee and manage the audit process through workflow.
• Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
• Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
• Professional customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
• Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
Education and Experience
• Commerce Graduate
• 3 – 5 years of directly related or closely related experience
