There is significant disparity between the respiratory health of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australian infants. There is no culturally accepted measure to collect respiratory health outcomes in Indigenous infants. The aim of this study was to gain end user and expert consensus on the most relevant and acceptable respiratory and birth measures for Indigenous infants at birth, between birth and 6 months, and at 6 months of age follow-up for use in a research trial.

A three round modified Delphi process was conducted from February 2018 to April 2019. Eight Indigenous panel members, and 18 Indigenous women participated. Items reached consensus if 7/8 (≥80%) panel members indicated the item was 'very essential'. Qualitative responses by Indigenous women and the panel were used to modify the 6 months of age surveys.

In total, 15 items for birth, 48 items from 1 to 6 months, and five potential questionnaires for use at 6 months of age were considered. Of those, 15 measures for birth were accepted, i.e., geses in community based Indigenous infants.

Succinic semialdehyde dehydrogenase (SSADH) deficiency is a rare neurometabolic disorder resulting in a heterogeneous clinical phenotype. Adolescent and adult patients with SSADH deficiency may present with OCD symptoms. There is minimal literature regarding the pathological basis of OCD symptoms and their management amongst SSADH deficiency patients.

A 26-year-old woman with SSADH deficiency experienced obsessional slowness and hesitancy in her activities of daily living, with motor rituals and stereotypies of her hands and face. Neuroimaging revealed T2 hyperintensities of the globi pallidi bilaterally. Commencement of the serotonergic escitalopram moderately improved her OCD symptoms. The addition of the dopaminergic pramipexole hydrochloride yielded further improvement, following unsuccessful trial of other adjuncts risperidone, methylphenidate and mirtazapine.

Recognition of loneliness as a health concern among adults stresses the need to understand the factors associated with loneliness. Research into factors of influence in the various phases of the adult life span (19-65 years) is scarce. Therefore, the associations between demographic, social and health-related factors and loneliness among young (19-34 years), early middle-aged (35-49 years) and late middle-aged adults (50-65 years) were explored.

A secondary analysis with a large cross-sectional dataset was performed. Data was collected from September to December 2016 in the Netherlands, by a self-report survey. Loneliness was measured using the De Jong-Gierveld Loneliness Scale. In total, 26,342 adults (19-65 years) participated (response rate 34%). Multiple logistic regression analyses were performed to examine associations between demographic, social and health-related factors as independent variables, and loneliness as dependent variable among the three age groups.

Synovial sarcoma is a soft tissue malignancy that frequently affects the extremities, adjacent to the large joints. Synovial sarcoma has a high rate of distant metastasis; however, pancreatic metastasis is extremely rare, and to our knowledge, there has been no report of bleeding due to spontaneous tumor rupture. This study reports the case of a patient with synovial sarcoma pancreatic metastasis causing tumor rupture and bleeding, which was successfully managed with emergent distal pancreatectomy.

In a cross-sectional study, we monitored and traced confirmed patients and their close contacts from January 11 to February 5, 2020 in Guangzhou, China, including 2 family cluster cases and 61 residents within one residential building. The environmental samples of the building and the throat swabs from the patients and from their related individuals were collected for SARS-CoV-2 and tested with real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
