بر اساس آمارهای بانک مرکزی متوسط قیمت هر دلار در بازار آزاد ایران طی سال 89 معادل یک هزار و 44 تومان بوده است در حالی که متوسط قیمت هر دلار در بازار آزاد این روزها به حدود یک هزار و 515 تومان رسیده است این مسئله کاهش 37 درصدی ارزش ریال در مقابل دلار را به دنبال داشته است.
