Kung Fu
Kung Fu adalah suatu seni beladiri dengan teknik pertahanan diri dan penyerangan atas lawan yang unik dari negeri Tiongkok. Istilah Kung Fu baru populer di tahun 1930an. Dalam sejarah Chinese Martial Arts, Kung Fu memiliki ebih dari 40 nama tergantung pada dinasti yang menaunginya. Nama Kung Fu dipopulerkan oleh almarhum Bruce Lee (Lee Siao Lung).
Seseorang yang mempelajari Kung Fu harus ingat 3 hal, yaitu Wen (pengetahuan dan budaya), Wu (kedisiplinan diri, latihan yang tekun, tekad yang bulat), dan Dao (Keagamaan, Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa, ketenangan batin). Dalam mempelajari ilmu beladiri Kung Fu, harus memiliki landasan yang kokoh guna menjadi pendekar Kung Fu sejati. Tahapannya ada 3, yaitu Tam (tekad, keyakinan terhadap diri sendiri, teman, guru, dan Kung Fu), Lip (tenaga, latihan yang berkesinambungan, latihan rutin bukan latihan keras), dan Kung Fu (teknik, dan lain-lain). Terakhir, ilmu beladiri Kung Fu mengenal 3 jenis tenaga, yaitu Gwa Kang (Way Kung) berarti tenaga luar, Nay Kang (Nei Kung) berarti tenaga dalam (seperti Chi, Fa Jing, Fa Li, dan lain-lain.), dan Gin Kang berarti Ringan badan.
