A multivariate linear regression method and T-test were used to analyze of the associations between elderly LTPA and built environment and the differences between the two cities, respectively. The results showed that LTPA was positively associated with walking/cycling facilities and crime safety in both cities. LTPA was positively correlated with residential density, aesthetics, pedestrian/traffic safety in Wenzhou and negatively correlated with access to services in Hangzhou. The perceived scores of aesthetics (2.71 vs. 2.45) and pedestrian/traffic safety (2.11 vs. 1.71) in Hangzhou were significantly higher than those in Wenzhou. The results suggested that built environment elements like higher walking/cycling facilities and crime safety may motivate elderly engaging LTPA in both cities. However, LTPA was affected by different factors in these two cities. In the urban redevelopment, survey conducted in its own city would provide meaningful information and cannot be neglected.Regulatory T cells (Tregs) express the lineage-defining transcription factor FoxP3 and play crucial roles in self-tolerance and immune homeostasis. In this study, we explore the socioeconomic factors that influence homicide rates in the Brazilian state of Alagoas from a critical public health perspective. Informed by field observation and interviews with 24 youths in low-income neighbourhoods and prisons in Alagoas, we derive and critically reflect on three regression models to predict municipal homicide rates from 2016-2020. The model results indicate significant effects for the male population, persons without elementary school completion, households with reported income, divorced persons, households without piped water, and persons working outside their home municipality. These results are situated in the broader socioeconomic context, trajectories, and cycles of inequality in the study area and underscore the need for integrative and contextually engaged mixed method study design in spatial epidemiology.Background The aim of this study was to investigate cuspal deflection caused by material shrinkage and temperature rise occurring in the pulp chamber during photopolymerization. The aim of this study was also to investigate the effect of flowable and packable bulk-fill composites on cuspal deflection occurring in mesio-occlusal-distal (MOD) cavities restored through the bulk-fill or through the incremental layering technique. Additionally, mechanical and thermal properties of bulk-fill composites were considered. Methods Two bulk-fill composites (high-viscosity and low-viscosity), largely differing in material composition, were used. These composites were characterized through linear shrinkage and compressive test. Cuspal deformation during restoration of mesio-occlusal-distal cavities of human premolars was evaluated using both the bulk-fill and the incremental layering techniques. Temperature rise was measured through thermocouples placed 1 mm below the cavity floor. see more Results Shrinkage of the flowable composite was significantly higher (p less then 0.05) than that of packable composite, while mechanical properties were significantly lower (p less then 0.05). For cusp distance variation, no significant difference was observed in cavities restored through both restorative techniques, while temperature rise values spanned from 8.2 °C to 11.9 °C. Conclusions No significant difference in cusp deflection between the two composites was observed according to both the restorative techniques. This result can be ascribed to the Young's modulus suggesting that the packable composite is stiffer, while the flowable composite is more compliant, thus balancing the cusp distance variation. The light curing modality of 1000 mW/cm2 for 20 s can be considered thermally safe for the pulp chamber.
