The aim of this study is to evaluate the characteristics of the dosimetry and the skin dose of interstitial brachytherapy by the use of the free-hand implantation technique toward the treatment of early breast cancer.
Seventeen patients diagnosed with early breast cancer were selected for the study. The implantation of the catheters for postoperative interstitial brachytherapy was performed using the free-hand technique. The total tumor dose to the tumor cavity plus 2cm margin was 3400cGy, twice daily for 10 fractions in 5days. The dosage to the target and the organ at risk (OAR) were recorded for analysis. The skin dose of the patient and the phantom were measured with Gafchromic film (EBT3) and the results were compared with the skin dose calculated by the brachytherapy treatment planning system.
The median conformal index is 94% (range 89%-99%), and the median homogeneity index is 71%. The median skin dose measured from the skin of the patients was 20.1% lower than the skin dose calculated from the treatment planning system and consistent with the phantom surface measurement experiment. There were no grade 3 or above acute toxicity recorded.
Interstitial brachytherapy by the use of the free-hand implantation technique for early breast cancer is feasible and avoids the need for a second surgical intervention. The calculated skin dose was overestimated by at least 20%. The results of this study may help in building a modification model for the prediction of skin toxicity in any future study.

The present study aimed to investigate the factor structure of the Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q) in a large sample of cisgender sexual minority men and women, and subsequently, to evaluate measurement invariance by gender.
The sample consisted of 962 sexual minority adult men (n = 479) and women (n = 483) who completed online self-report surveys. Confirmatory factor analysis was conducted using two previously supported factor structures (Friborg et al.'s four-factor model and Grilo et al.'s brief three-factor model) as well as the original four-factor structure of the EDE-Q.
Results indicated that the best fitting models were Friborg et al.'s four-factor model (CFI = .974, RMSEA = .098, SRMR = .0 70) and Grilo et al.'s brief three-factor model (CFI = .999, RMSEA = .049, SRMR = .017). The model fit of both factor structures were nearly identical when examined separately for men and women. The original four-factor structure could not be supported in this sample. Measurement invariance analyses further indicated that the best fitting models were invariant by gender in sexual minority individuals. Internal consistency was adequate for all subscales of Friborg et al.'s and Grilo et al.'s models.
The present study provides support for the use of the EDE-Q in sexual minority men and women. Additionally, findings demonstrate that the EDE-Q performs similarly in sexual minority men and women. Future research is needed to further evaluate measurement invariance of the EDE-Q by sexual orientation, gender identity, and race.

COVID-19 is considered a widespread concern in global public health. Diagnoses of COVID-19 in some cases are necessary because of severe prognosis. In this study, epidemiologies, clinical and demographic characteristics of patients with COVID-19 were studied in Taleghani Hospital, Urmia, Iran.
This descriptive-analytical cross-sectional study was carried out on 215 patients with COVID-19 during March and April 2020. Approved COVID-19 case was considered as a person with a positive respiratory sample performed by at least one of two RT-PCR methods or genetic sequencing. ANOVA repeated measure, independent t-test and logistic regression were done. A P<.05 was considered significant.
The mean age of patients was 50.93±17.92years. Regarding gender, there were 91 females (42.3%) and 124 males (57.7%). The mean hospital stay, the temperature at admission, and onset of symptoms were 4.91±3.68days, 37.40±0.96°C and 5.88±4.80days, respectively. Close contact with suspected people was found in 10.2% of patient19 (P=.043).
COVID-19 involves different organs of the body with different severity. In the meantime, smoking was not a risk factor for the virus or associated with severe manifestations of the disease. Patients with high creatinine and CPK, pulmonary involvement above 25%, and hypoxemia had a higher mortality rate. Increase of Spo2 by 1% can improve the patients by 24%. The results indicated that Kaletra had the most highest effect on improvement following COVID-19.

To gain new insights into the experiences of nurses who smoke and to understand the impact of those experiences on their delivery of smoking cessation interventions.
A meta-ethnographic synthesis.
CINAHL, Embase, MEDLINE, PsychINFO, Web of Science and grey literature databases were searched from their inception to April 2019.
Meta-ethnography was employed to synthesize findings from included studies. selleck The CASP qualitative checklist was used to appraise the quality of each study, and the GRADE-CERQual approach to appraise review findings. The synthesis is reported in accordance with the eMERGe reporting guidance.
From an initial search outcome of 6,019 citations, 13 studies were included detailing the experiences of 195 nurses who were smokers or ex-smokers. Four main themes were identified beliefs, dissonance, coping mechanisms and workplace policies. An integrated conceptual map was proposed on the basis of findings. Nurses who smoke were aware of tobacco harms and their role in addressing tobacco use, which resulted in experiences of guilt and stigma.
