Instructor Feedback

"The instructors were very professional and knowledgeable. They are concerned about their students and it shows. They will teach you the fundamentals of riding a motorbike. This class is highly recommended to every motorcycle rider, no matter their age or previous experience.

The classroom instruction was informative and thought-provoking. The feedback from the instructor was the best part of the riding instruction. They didn't simply say "OK", but they told you what you did wrong. For instance, "You looked down at the handlebars", "You gave it too many gas", "Your wrists are bent", "You shifted too early", or "You weren't putting pressure on your foot peg". Then they told you how to fix it.

This kind of personal coaching is the price you pay for a quality training session and the thing that sets this course apart from other. Some riders may be a bit harsh, but I believe it is essential to give students the best chance at passing the test and riding safely.

I've attended other courses in the past, and there was no individual feedback from the instructor. There's no reason why instructors should have the final say in whether a student passes an exam unless they're an obvious threat or obstructing others in the class.

In my view, any motorsports school that doesn't provide individualized coaching is missing a crucial element of its curriculum. It doesn't deserve the praise it receives in student reviews. The most efficient way to learn quickly and safely is to take the Basic RiderCourse, followed by private lessons. You can learn from an experienced instructor learn from a professional, avoid bad habits and start riding with confidence and the skills you will use for the rest of your life. Be prepared to take it again the next time around and keep up the good work.
