How to Get a Category A1 Driving Licence
Category A1 driving licenses permit individuals to drive on a motorcycle that is small and without a sidecar. Its cylinder capacity must not exceed 130 cubic centimeters. Its power cannot exceed 11 kW.

Trailers
A category A1 licence allows you to operate a motor vehicle that can tow a trailer that weighs up to 750kg. This category also includes vehicles that are not covered by other categories, such as electric vehicles. In addition, you can apply for a category A licence to drive a motor bicycle with an engine that isn't more than 125cc and an output of up to 11kW. You need an authorization of category B in order to drive an automobile with a trailer weighing more than 750kg.
A vehicle with an authorised maximum weight of more than 750kg should be operated by a driver with a category E licence. If the vehicle is a coach, a driver with a category D licence is required. You must have a category-C license to operate any vehicle with an unloaded trailer that weighs more than 750kg. This applies to vans and trucks that are used for transporting goods, but not passenger cars. This licence is valid for three years.
