We performed shotgun genome sequencing on a total of 19 different Musa genotypes including representatives of wild banana species Musa acuminata and M. balibisiana, allopolyploid bananas and plantains, Fe'i banana, pink banana (also known as hairy banana) and abacá (also known as hemp banana). We aligned sequence reads against a previously sequenced reference genome and assessed ploidy and, in the case of allopolyploids, the contributions of the A and B genomes; this provides important quality-assurance data about the taxonomic identities of the sequenced plant material. These data will be useful for phylogenetics, crop improvement, studies of the complex story of intergenomic recombination in AAB and ABB allotriploid bananas and plantains and can be integrated into resources such as the Banana Genome Hub.This dataset supports the research article "Complete greenhouse dynamic simulation tool to assess the crop thermal well-being and energy needs" [1]. In the agricultural sector, the use of energy can be very intensive [2] and the simulation of solar greenhouses is a very complex work [3]. This dataset provides the results of thermal modeling and dynamic simulation of a solar greenhouse considering simultaneously several thermal phenomena. The analysis was performed by TRNSYS 17 software (TRaNsient SYstem Simulation). The results obtained consider different phenomena that affect the thermal behavior of the greenhouse, including evapotranspiration produced by plants, heat exchange with the soil and the presence of artificial lights. Different models are presented for the calculation of the convective coefficient that best suits the presence of glass surfaces, considering the different discretization of the internal volume (single thermal zone and twenty thermal zones). The parameters that influence the thermal behavior of the greenhouse are analyzed on an hourly basis, the model has been validated with EnergyPlus. The data allow the researcher to choose a suitable greenhouse model in the case of free-floating model or in the presence of an air conditioning system.In this article, we propose a dataset about the energy consumption of mobile devices that was collected as part of a "Tour de France" with an electrical wheelchair. Part of these data was used to propose a mathematical model based on an experimental methodology of the energy consumed in mobile devices. Based on these precise measurements in a real environment, we have elaborated predictive models of energy consumption. The objective of this paper is to make accessible the data related to these publications to other researchers in several fields of science (computer science, telecommunications, meteorological science, artificial intelligence, statistics...). To our knowledge, this is the first publication of a dataset recording real world energy consumption data in mobile devices.Two expert elicitation workshops were conducted in 2017 to capture the diversity and cultural drivers of food choice of low- and middle- income households in the states of West Bengal and Odisha in eastern India. Experts representing the fields of nutrition, home science, food technology, and food service industry were invited to participate. Following the "gastronomic systems research" framework, the food experts determined the eating occasions, dishes and ingredients that would culturally define the target population in their respective states. To zoom in further on the nutritional implications, one of the two states was selected for further in-depth study by expanding the list of dishes and conducting nutritional analysis. The approach is elaborated in the article "Capturing diversity and cultural drivers of food choice in eastern India" [1]. The workshop generated two databases (i) "List of dishes and ingredients from expert elicitation workshop" and (ii) "Database of eastern Indian dishes". The former was used to differentiate the eating occasions based on dishes, the proportion of dishes based on dish classification, and the dietary diversity score of each occasion. The dietary diversity score was then used to analyze the nutritional composition of dishes in terms of three macro nutrients such as protein, carbohydrates and fat in each eating occasion. The databases provide a useful baseline for nutritionists, policymakers, and food system actors to design nutrition intervention strategies for the purpose of developing planetary health diets in eastern India.Knowing the tastes and needs of consumers is a key aspect in the literature review on consumer behaviour. The data from this paper allow participatin some of these companies to consider market countries that were not previously considered for the exportation of their products.Two datasets were obtained to develop an understanding of factors characterizing the eLearning experience of secondary school teachers and university undergraduate students in Jordan. Both datasets were collected via electronic questionnaires. The secondary school teachers' dataset was collected toward the end of the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year, and the university undergraduate students' dataset was collected during the summer semester of the same year. Six hundred and sixty-six participants responded to the secondary school teachers' questionnaire, and one thousand participants responded to the university undergraduate students' questionnaire. A structural equation modelling approach was utilized to analyze the data. Future research might extend the two data models by collecting data about other factors and examine their impact on the eLearning experience of secondary school teachers and university undergraduate students in Jordan and other countries. Moreover, the datasets can be compared with other data from different developing and developed countries.
