In this study, more than 20 fungal isolates were screened and Paecilomyces sp. ZB shown to produce more gibberellic acid than other fungal isolates. Cow dung was used as low cost substrate for gibberellic acid production in solid state fermentation (SSF). Carbon, nitrogen and ionic sources stimulated gibberellic acid production in SSF. Lactose emerged as the significant carbon source supporting more gibberellic acid production (731 µg/g). Among the nitrogen sources, glycine appeared to influence the production of more gibberellic acid (803 µg/g). The process parameters were optimized to enhance gibberellic acid production using a two-level full factorial design and response surface methodology. The amount of gibberellic acid production was influenced mainly by moisture and pH of the substrate. Gibberellic acid production was 1312 µg/g under the optimized conditions and the predicted response was 1339 µg/g. The gibberellic acid yield increased twofolds after medium optimization. The extracted gibberellic acid was sprayed on the growing Mung bean plant and it stimulated the growth of the plant effectively. We selected patients with ICD-9 code 795.79 as. Sapporo criteria applied to all patients, then divided into cases fulfilled criteria and cases failed the criteria. To notice the difference in clinical and laboratory indices and comorbidities between the two groups, the T-test was performed and Logistic regression for the fulfilled criteria and clinical indices of vascu but not degreed disease severity profiles.Green synthesis of silver nanoparticles has gained great interest among scientists. In view of this data, we conducted this study to identify the ameliorative effect of green synthesis of silver nanoparticles using Nigella sativa extract in diabetic neuropathy induced experimentally. In this study, 50 adult male albino rats were used and they were randomly divided into five groups; the first group was the healthy control group, the second group were the diabetic neuropathy diabetic neuropathy induced, Groups (3-6) diabetic neuropathy induced group and treated with silver nanoparticles, Nigella sativa extract and green synthesized silver nanoparticles using Nigella sativa extract respectively. Biochemical parameters including diabetic, inflammatory and antioxidant biomarkers were evaluated. Brain histopathology was also performed. Results revealed substantial rise in glucose, AGE, aldose reductase with insulin reduction in diabetic neuropathy induced group as compared to healthy control. Also, inflammatory markers increased significantly in diabetic neuropathy induced group. A remarkable change in oxidative status was observed in the same group. Furthermore, significant decline in nitrotyrosin level was observed. Regarding gene expression, we found significant down regulation in brain TKr A accompanied by upregulation of nerve growth factor in diabetic neuropathy group comparing with healthy control. Several treatments for diabetic neuropathy remarkably ameliorate all the investigated biomarkers. Histological findings are greatly relied on for the results achieved in this study. Therefore, it can be established that green synthesis of silver nanoparticles in combination with Nigella sativa extract could be a newly neuroprotective agents against inflammation and oxidative stress characterizing diabetic neuropathy through their antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidants effects.Aedes mosquitoes are the most important group of vectors that transmit pathogens, including arboviruses, and cause human diseases such as dengue fever, yellow fever, Zika virus, and Chikungunya. Biosynthesis and the use of green silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) is a vital step to identify reliable and eco-friendly controls for these vectors. In this study, Aedes (Ae.) aegypti larvae (2nd and 3rd instar) were exposed to leaf extracts of Ricinus communis (Castor) and AgNPs synthesized from the extract to evaluate their larvicidal potential. Synthesized AgNPs were characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (XRD). Ae. aegypti larvae were treated with different concentrations (50-250 ppm) of the leaf extract and synthesized AgNPs. There were five replicates per treatment, in addition to a positive (temephos) and negative control (dechlorinated water). Mortality was recorded after 12, 24, 36, and 48 h and the data were subjected to Probit analysis. The nanoparticles were more toxic (LC50 = 46.22 ppm and LC90 = 85.30 ppm) than the plant extract (106.24 and 175.73 ppm, respectively). The leaf extracts of Ricinus communis were subjected to HPLC analysis to identify their chemical constituents. This study suggests that plant extracts and synthesized nanoparticles are excellent alternatives to hazardous chemical pesticides used to control vector mosquitoes. This is a potentially useful technique that can reduce aquatic toxicity from insecticide use.
