- I think our loving styles are incompatible
- I think our maturity difference is too big to overlook (not a bad thing, just generally too big)
- I think my continued presence in his life will cause anxiety, and his in mine will cause stress
- I do not like hiding things from my parents
- I think he needs to date someone who is as passionate as him
- I DO NOT WANT/WILL NOT LET MYSELF BE TALKED OUT OF THIS, THIS IS NONNEGOTIABLE
- I have spent too long debating on if I should put myself first or not
- While this was caused by incompatibility, that doesn't mean he was necessarily doing something WRONG, just not for me
- I understand if you hate me, are upset at me, or are angry at me, but things will get better.
- I will give you back any clothes/gifts you want returned/want to return.

this may seem really formulaic and well written and that's because I'm writing this in advance to make things easier. to be blunt, I don't think I can keep going in this relationship. to start, I think our loving styles are incompatible and make both of us more confused. you value quality time, something I am physically incapable of providing not just due to my parents' opinion on you, but due to my increasingly busier life. I understand that you have said that you are "adapting" and trying to provide a different style both you and I know that that is physically impossible. Our preferences are ingrained into us. I am not going to let you and at the very least watch you destroy your personality for the sake of this relationship. I also think our maturity difference is far too big to overlook. You and I approach situations/emotions differently, and that's not to imply you're approaching them WRONG, just that we have a big difference. This causes conflict and confusion between both of us. Another major reason is that I really, /really/ do not like hiding this relationship from my parents.
