This association may be blunted by potential bias, although the results was not meaningfully changed by omitting only one study at a time. Further subgroup analysis and meta-regression support that compliance of patients also affects the results significantly, compared with the publication year, follow-up duration, the samples, or population characteristics. CONCLUSION Participants with higher baseline Ang-2 were at a higher risk for future risk of mortality in patients with ARDS. Higher circulating Ang-2 levels could independently predict the risk of mortality in patients with ARDS. However, further large scale prospective cohorts or even interventional studies are warranted to evaluate the diagnostic power of Ang-2 and its causative role on ARDS outcome. The reviews of this paper are available via the supplemental material section.There is no comprehensive meta-analysis of randomised trials examining the effects of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and no systematic review at all of the effects of EMDR on other mental health problems. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of 76 trials. Most trials examined the effects on PTSD (62%). The effect size of EMDR compared to control conditions was g = 0.93 (95% CI 0.67-.18), with high heterogeneity (I2= 72%). Only four of 27 studies had low risk of bias, and there were indications for publication bias. EMDR was more effective than other therapies (g = 0.36; 95% CI 0.14-0.57), but not in studies with low risk of bias. Significant results were also found for EMDR in phobias and test anxiety, but the number of studies was small and risk of bias was high. EMDR was examined in several other mental health problems, but for none of these problems, sufficient studies were available to pool outcomes. EMDR may be effective in the treatment of PTSD in the short term, but the quality of studies is too low to draw definite conclusions. However, empirical evidence on the potential mechanisms that might lead to this kind of memory failure remains mostly unexplored. This study aimed to investigate the influence of the ongoing task demands on PM deactivation of non-performed intentions. Younger adults, except for those in the no-PM condition, were asked to perform a PM task and were then told that the intention was finished. Later, they perform a lexical decision task with some trials containing (irrelevant) PM cues while simultaneously carrying out a counting recall task with two levels of difficulty. The results showed a higher risk of PM commission errors under moderate cognitive load (74%) as compared to the no-load condition (40%). Results also show that commission error risk did not increase in the high-load (54%) compared with the moderate-load condition. Furthermore, comparisons of the ongoign task performance between the no-PM condition and the other conditions with a PM task requirement support that commission errors might arise from a spontaneous PM retrieval. Materials & methods A total of 30 patients with medial femoro-tibial condylar cartilage defects were randomized into three groups arthroscopic microfracture group and normal saline injection, arthroscopic microfracture and intra-articular injection of HA, or arthroscopic microfracture in combination with intra-articular injection of HA and haMPCs. Results & conclusions The data demonstrated that intra-articular injection of haMPCs plus microfracture and HA is a safe procedure to improve joint function in patients with knee cartilage defects. It has a severe negative effect on the triple bottom line of sustainability. Construction and demolition waste (CDW) contributes about 50% of the total global annual generated SW. In the particular case of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region including Egypt, the SW problem has become a major challenge, and the need to find sustainable solutions is overwhelming. However, the region faces several challenges that hinder the development of an effective and efficient SWM system. This has resulted in the predominance of unsustainable SWM practices such as indiscriminate disposals. The aim of this paper is to investigate the escalating problem of SW in the MENA region, while focusing on CDW in Egypt as a part of the total generated SW, by reviewing the most recent research papers, and technical and governmental reports on the SW problem. The main challenges towards effective and efficient SWM systems and recommendations for improvement are gathered in this study based on the explored literature. Findings from this study are expected to be beneficial to local and central governments, academics, construction industry practitioners, and policymakers contending with the problems of SW in the MENA region and especially CDW in Egypt.BACKGROUND It is stated that high ethical sensitivity positively affects the quality of nursing care. However, the relationship between nursing care quality and ethical sensitivity has not been clearly demonstrated in researches. AIM This study was carried out to determine the relationship between surgical nurses' care behaviors and their ethical sensitivity. METHOD The sample of this cross-sectional, descriptive-correlational study consists of 308 nurses who worked at the surgical departments in four Turkish hospitals. The data were collected using the "Nurse Description Form" developed by the researcher, "Caring Behaviours Inventory-24" and "Ethical Sensitivity Questionnaire." Data were evaluated by the Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis one-way analysis of variance and Spearman correlation analysis. ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS The study was approved by the ethics committee. Verbal and written consent was received from the nurses. RESULTS It was found in the study that nurses' Caring Behaviours Inventory-24 total score median was 5.
