All Draco said was a firm "I don't know". But at least he recognised Hermione and Ron.

Even though he is not a nice person to the golden trio, Gryffindores and the Weasleys but that's all because of his father and the Black family, since Sirius' family was obsessed with being pureblood, they made Narcissa[Draco's mum] marry Lucius Malfoy just to complete pureblood heritage. [believe it or not, Narcissa is Sirius' cousin]. Anyway, when they got married they had Draco and Draco lived with the father who served the most darkest wizard in he whole wizarding world [voldemort] and throughout his life, he has been taught that Voldemort is the good guy and Harry is someone who has to be killed by Voldemort, that's why he's mean to Harry.
