VOLUME 1
I was running so fast my feet was on fire. I didn't stop to rest, even for one second. I looked back and saw the great monster turning the corner. I bet I know what your thinking right now. "What's happening? What's chasing you? Why are you running so fast?". Well, let me start from the beginning. I was walking to school when my friend, Mike started walking beside me. "Are you auditioning for the talent show? I don't want to be the only person in the group to audition." Mike said as he pushed back his glasses. "No, I not that type of person to audition for money or trophy or something. I get prizes by hard labor." As Mike walked to his drive-way I thought to myself, "3 more blocks to go.". Around the second block a old man was waving a sign that said HE'S COMING BACK!!! and shouting it, even though no one was on the street but me. I walked up my porch and pulled out my key. Then I heard a loud bang coming from down the street. Then from far away I saw a big wild animal running into the forest. I walked down my steps very slowly. I pulled out my scissors and gripped then tightly on to them. By the time I got half way down the street, I felt like something was watching me. I walked into the woods with the dead brown and yellow leaves crunching under my feet. Then I stopped in an unusual place. I started sinking very slowly. This was very weird because there were no sinking sand where I live. I started shouting for help. I was screaming my lungs out. Suddenly, I felt something grip my foot. I got pulled in with a very strong yank. It felt forever to reach the ground. I closed my eyes and hoped that this was all a dream. Then, the wind stopped from me getting pulled under the Earth. I felt something rough but smooth at the same time under me. As I opened my eyes I relized that I was in some sort of hand. I was too scared to look up to see what it was. When I did get the courage to, I stood up in the giant hand, turned around, and lifted my head up. I was so shocked no words came out my mouth.
