Pepsi is one of the world's most iconic and recognized consumer brands globally. Today, the Pepsi portfolio includes three products - Pepsi, Diet Pepsi and Pepsi MAX — that each generates more than $1 billion in annual retail sales. Although Pepsi is one of the most famous brands, but they continue working in advertising to compete with many of the competitors such as Coke, Sprite and Fanta. In 2014, Pepsi has become the one of the official sponsors of the World Cup and this helped to spread it more than any other soft drinks.
To grab the audience each customer brand has to do something unique and different than other competitors. As shown in the picture Pepsi were gearing up for World Cup 2014 in Brazil with a fantastic marketing campaign featuring the likes of Lionel Messi, Robin van Persie, David Luiz, Jack Wilshere, Sergio Ramos, Sergio , Aguero and others. The popular sports drink company plans to air the commercial in over 100 countries around the world as they look to mix football, music, and culture into one fantastic commercial featuring some of the world's biggest stars. As shown in the picture Pepsi chose different kind of players like White and Black and that means Pepsi is sold to all without exceptions. Also, Pepsi chose different players from different leagues to grab attention the largest possible number of people. In fact, in 2014 Lionel Messi has won the Fifa Golden Ball as the best player of World Cup 2014 and that increased the profits of Pepsi. In this advertisement Pepsi preferred to use the most famous players because the audience have followed these players and it was easy to deliver the advertisement to everywhere.

Basically this picture was taken from a video clip and the message from this advertisement is to grab the audience. For many reasons Pepsi chose the world cup to make this wonderful picture. First of all, the world cup known as the biggest sporting event on Earth and more than 3.3 billion watch it. The audience here are half of people and it’s the best time ever for any advertisements. Second, the audience watched the picture because it was appear on TV, newspaper, magazines, and between the two halves of games. So it was possible to watch it more than twice during the world cup. Third, during the competition between Pepsi and Coke people couldn’t distinguish between them, but after this advertisement the audience have liked Pepsi more than Coke. As shown in the picture there were no word and that because using players is more attractive than typing words like what some other competitors did.
This picture told the audience that football is for both poor and rich people because all the players are rich, but this photograph was taken in a place indicates poverty. Likewise, Pepsi painted image on the wall behind the players include its own logo Pepsi colors which are white, red, and blue.
In conclusion, Pepsi is considered one of the most soft drinks companies around the world. Through this advertisement Pepsi has been able to attract many people to increase their sales and this is what happened according to of the Statistics. Pepsi was smart when used these players because the players are considered to be more follow-up celebrity, whether through social media or through the games. All in all, this advertisement is good enough to attract people and continue to compete with other companies.
