What is a bedside cot?

Our mom testers were able to move it from room to room and believed that it was a suitable size for a bedside cot, not too big or too small. The large storage basket is great for storing extra bedding or nappies.

This is an excellent choice for parents who want to co-sleep, but do not wish to share their beds or whose partner may be prone to mobility issues, such as back problems or arthritis. Our mom testers love the ease with which they can access their baby in the Iora and that it has an option to tilt the bed upwards to help with gas.

Our mums are thrilled that the mattress adheres to NICE guidelines. These include placing an infant in the Moses basket or crib on its own, without toys, blankets, pillows etc. The mattress is also sturdy and comfortable for the baby, and sheets are readily available. It's not as light as the other smaller bedside cribs however it is a good choice if you are looking for something lighter and easier to move around with, think about one of the other options in our list.
