Selection along with phylogeny associated with percolomonads depending on freshly discovered varieties via hypersaline and maritime seas.
Coral-associated bacterial communities are paramount for coral ecosystems and holobiont health. However, the role of symbiotic bacteria in the adaptation of high-latitude corals to seasonal fluctuations remains underexplored. Therefore, we used 16S rRNA-based high-throughput sequencing to analyze the symbiotic bacterial diversity, composition, and core bacterial community in high-latitude coral and explored the seasonal fluctuation characteristics of symbiotic bacterial communities. We found that bacterial richness and α-diversity changed significantly across different seasons. Additionally, the community structure recombined seasonally, with different dominant bacterial phyla and genera in different seasons. However, the symbiotic bacterial community structures of Acropora pruinosa in winter and spring were similar. Proteobacteria were the dominant bacteria in spring, autumn, and winter. In summer, the dominant bacterial taxa were Bacteroidota and Proteobacteria. Ralstonia was the dominant bacterial genus in to large seasonal environmental fluctuations. In conclusion, seasonal variation of bacteria plays an important role in coral adaptation to large environmental fluctuations.Microcystin-LR (MCLR) induced impairment to male reproductive system and revealed the effects of transgenerational toxicity on offspring. But very little is known about the inheritance of these effects to offspring and the mechanisms involved. Here, we used methylated DNA immunoprecipitation sequencing (MeDIP-Seq) and microarray to characterize whole-genome DNA methylation and mRNA expression patterns in zebrafish testis after 6-week exposure to 5 and 20 μg/L MCLR. Accompanied with these analyses it revealed that MAPK pathway and ER pathway significantly enriched in zebrafish testes. Apoptosis and testicular damage were also observed in testis. Next, we test the transmission of effects to compare control-father and MCLR exposure-father progenies. DNA methylation analyses (via reduced representation bisulfite sequencing) reveal that the enrichment of differentially methylated regions on neurodevelopment after paternal MCLR exposure. Meanwhile, several genes associated with neurodevelopment were markedly downregulated in zebrafish larvae, and swimming speed was also reduced in the larvae. Interestingly, paternal MCLR exposure also triggered activation the phosphorylation of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway which is also associated with neurodevelopmental disorders. These results demonstrated the significant effect that paternal MCLR exposure may have on gene-specific DNA methylation patterns in testis. Inherited epigenetic alterations through the germline may be the mechanism leading to developmental neurotoxicity in the offspring. The combustion of fossil fuels produces a large amount of carbon dioxide (CO2), which leads to global warming in the world. How to rationally consume fossil energy and control CO2 emissions has become an unavoidable problem for human beings while vigorously developing economy. This paper proposes a novel economy and CO2 emissions prediction model using an improved Attention mechanism based long short term memory (LSTM) neural network (Attention-LSTM) to analyze and optimize the energy consumption structures in different countries or areas. The Attention mechanism can add the weight of different inputs in the previous information or related factors to realize the indirect correlation between output and related inputs of the LSTM. Therefore, the Attention-LSTM can allocate more computing resources to the parts with a higher relevance of correlation in the case of limited computing power. JAK inhibitor Through inputs with the consumption of oil, natural gas, coal, hydroelectricity and renewable energy, the desirable output with the per capita gross domestic product (GDP) and the undesirable output with CO2 emissions prediction model of different countries and areas is established based on the Attention-LSTM. The experimental results show that compared with the normal LSTM, the back propagation (BP), the radial basis function (RBF) and the extreme learning machine (ELM) neural networks, the Attention-LSTM is more accurate and practical. Meanwhile, the proposed model provides guidance for optimizing energy structures to develop economy and reasonably control CO2 emissions.Understanding changes in ecosystem services and their drivers is important for effective riparian ecosystem conservation and restoration. In the study, changes in water-related ecosystem services (soil conservation, water purification, and water yield) from 2007 to 2015 in Liaohe River Reserve, China were analyzed using the Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Trade-offs model. Impacts of landscape patterns on ecosystem services for different stages of restoration, i.e., farmland abandonment and natural succession stages were determined by stepwise regression analysis, respectively. The results showed that landscape fragmentation, landscape diversity, farmland fragmentation and grassland aggregation increased at the farmland abandonment stage. Landscape aggregation and diversity increased, whereas farmland fragmentation and grassland fragmentation decreased at the natural succession stage. Water-related ecosystem services improved since farmland abandonment, but water yield decreased from 1.57 × 106 m3 to 1.47 × 106 m3 at natural succession stage from 2011 to 2015. Water yield dynamics both at farmland abandonment and natural restoration stages were not significantly associated with landscape metrics. Dynamics of soil retention and water purification services at the farmland abandonment stage were significantly affected by landscape patch numbers, farmland division, and grassland aggregation. Interspersion and juxtaposition between different patch types, farmland edge density, grassland division, and grassland aggregation played significant roles in the dynamics of soil retention and water purification services at the natural restoration stage. The results provide scientific guidance for riparian management at the landscape scale to better restore water-related ecosystem services.
