Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using an application that allows you to save maps of your home as well as set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and how much water your mop consumes.

A mapping feature can help your robot navigate through rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance function prevents it from running into wires, furniture or other pet toys. These features are vital for my home that is filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum, so it's a natural choice to be with a host of features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to recognize pets, plants and other small objects.

The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on a surface.

Its mopping functionality is also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad for an intense clean. It also features an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it goes from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can put it away and forget about it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank every now and then.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard vac- and mop-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with the only drawback being that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to ditch their old stick vacuums and mop. If you are able to justify the cost we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combination. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that rotate. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well across the entire home. It removed 98.4 percent of the debris on all kinds of floors and managed to lift hair that was long without getting caught in. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It also features a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. In addition it's not as capable at scrubbing away stubborn stains as those found in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. The base station must be cleaned, and the water and dust tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads that are sold separately will also require replacement every few months.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can find but its high cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a want than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors while taking care of wet mess, then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity for both mowing and vacuuming and top-quality obstacle-avoiding. It also comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself while moving this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-cleaning to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire length of the bot, and it is constantly dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked by the heater elements of the tank and empty into a larger storage container. The tank onboard holds plenty of water, and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to the dock. If you decide to choose to use this feature you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your own choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, just like the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a area and was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with longer piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum however it has some impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a good bit of a space before returning to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite complex, with a broad range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then clear everything that's been that is mapped by the device or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've created. There are several mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the space.

The Qrevo did well in our tests, like all the Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system is efficient in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The 'Normal" pathing settings cover a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets with thick padding, but may not be able detect smaller objects such as rug tassels and electrical wires.

The machine has a major issue: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. robot vacuum cleaner Robot Vacuum Mops could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to eliminate the last remnants of dust and debris left behind by your vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
