Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest flagship robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our best mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most soiled areas efficiently, while keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other dirt. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that extends to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and a mop pad that extends across baseboards.

Its navigation is smart, navigating narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without missing a step. It can move from one room to another without having to reverse direction.
