Buying a Bedside Crib For Travel

When you travel for pleasure or business it's crucial to ensure your baby is comfortable and safe when traveling. While some families may be inclined to use a bassinet or a crib that they already own but it's better to purchase one specifically designed for travel. These are smaller and have mesh sides that allow parents to monitor their child without causing any disturbance to them. They are also lightweight for easy transportation between destinations. These also comply with the safety standards set by the American Academy of Pediatrics and have not been subject to recalls.

They also meet the latest BS EN 1130:2019 safety requirements which stipulate that the 120mm high barrier should be present between your mattress and the cot of your child.

Travel cribs are also available. They are designed specifically to be carried on the road. They tend to be smaller and lighter than standard cribs, making it easier to carry them in and out hotels and cars.
