Apa, who are you, Agostina has returned to tell you all about the magnificent land of Argentina.  Did you know that 1 out of every 10 of all plants on earth are represented in Argentina.  Its true; 10 percent of all the worlds species of flora are present in Argentina.  This is probably because of the size of our country.  We have so many different kinds of climates, altitudes, and latitudes.  We have grassy plains, high mountain steeps, and hot humid coastal areas.  Because of this diversity, Argentina also has a lot of different types of animals.  There are huge jungle cats such as the puma, which is like your cougar or mountain lion, as well as rodents of all shapes and sizes, including the largest rodent in the world, the capybara.  Another rodent is the carpincho, which is similar to the beaver, but found nowhere else in the world.  We also have tons of birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish.  It is a beautiful country, my Argentina, teeming with life.
