Anna discovered that the CoZee was a safe and comfortable sleep space for her newborn. It was a pleasure to not move like other models so she wasn't disturbed at night while trying to soothe her child for feedings. She also liked that the sides of the chair could be lowered so that she didn't have to reach over her partner in order to lift the child for nighttime feedings.

The CoZee is available in charcoal and oak and was a stylish addition to the bedroom. It's more an elegant piece of furniture than some of the other cribs we've tried, which appear quite utilitarian. It's also quite light at just 11kg and comes with a carrying case which allows you to take it away on holidays or if you're moving your home. You only need to purchase an extra waterproof sheet and safety strap for sleeping together. The instructions and pictures are easy to follow once you open the box.

The Iora is a bassinet for the bed that helps parents feel connected to their child while they sleep. It adjusts upwards and downwards and moves through three slide positions to be placed next to the bed of the parent or in the corner of the room so that the baby is always close at hand. The mesh siding lets air flow through, and allows you to see your baby easily. You can also store more pajamas and other supplies in the large storage basket beneath.

In contrast to other bedside cribs Iora is a standout among other bedside cribs. Iora folds flat and comes with a carry-on bag so that it can be taken anywhere. Our mum testers were able to move it from room to room and felt that it was a suitable size for a bedside cot, not too big or too small. The large storage basket is ideal for storing extra bedding or nappies.

This is a great choice for parents looking to co-sleep but do not wish to share their beds or whose partners may have mobility issues, like arthritis or back issues. Our mum testers loved the ease with which they could access their child while in the Iora and that it came with an optional reflux incline that helped reduce gas.

Our mothers appreciate the fact that it complies with NICE guidelines that state to put the infant in the crib or Moses basket on its own (with no toys, blankets, pillows, etc). The mattress is also a good firm and comfortable for babies and sheets are easily available. It's not as light as other smaller cribs on our list, so if prefer something lighter and easier to move, choose another alternative.
