i think realistically, the only thing i have control over is what happens within the server, not outside the server such as in dms, etc. while i don't want to just dismiss your concerns, i think it's important to realize that discord gives you the ability to block people and that you should take advantage of that feature when you feel it's necessary. there have been situations in the past where i've removed members from the discord over concerns more serious than personal discourse between two members who simply do not like each other for whichever reason. in these situations, my definition of holding these members accountable includes silently removing them and not turning it into a public situation that ropes in unsuspecting bystanders. tl;dr: personally, i'm not going to take any action against any members. in these types of situations, your offered course of action is to either resolve it individually, block each other, or leave the server






my unbiased decision is yall handle this like adults in dms or leave the server :) :)

to say bandit instigated the discussion in general when you started off asking to @ everyone seems a little dishonest, when 200+ people recieve a ping at least one of them is going to ask questions to get further context
