Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customised using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save your home's maps, set up cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. good robot vacuum robotvacuummops can also alter the suction power, as well as the amount of water your mop uses.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate around rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles will stop it from running into furniture, wires or even stray toys. These are must-have features in my home, which is filled with strewn-about toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it's a natural choice to be with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and lift its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to recognize pet toys plants, a variety of small objects.
The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested up to now. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on an object.
The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad at more than 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a mop lifter system that lifts the pad automatically as it transitions between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be washed and heat-dried within the dock and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. This means you can set it and forget it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank every now and then.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. But its abundance of features makes it a very tempting choice for anyone looking to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mop. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combination. The high price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that rotate. It also comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the home. It removed 98.4% debris on all kinds of floors and managed to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well with excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as the powerful cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's most significant selling point is its innovative multi-functional docking station. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, refills the water tank to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its smart controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mops I tested. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads that are bought separately, must be replaced regularly too.
With the L10S Ultra's high-end pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. If you're on a budget, I recommend a more basic model that will allow you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could purchase, its high cost and frequent maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that can clean up dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet messes then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination is a mighty suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It is also equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It has a mop with a roller that cleans itself which makes it stand out from other models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of clean, ozonated filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept into the front bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements and empty into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard can hold a good amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do most robotic vacuums/mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, however this is easy to do by cleaning the dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to dock. If you do opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal cleaner of choice.
Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was fast to map a room, and it easily navigated around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with longer piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level vacuum and mop, but it still has several impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system is able to be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite complex, and offers many options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start the full map and then clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can pick particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map out the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like all Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized fashion. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a space, with no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels.
The one glaring flaw of this model is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be an issue for those who are frequently vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can make use of the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and traces that remained after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum to clean up a bit better than its competitors with lower prices.
