Piecing Jointly Huge Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons as well as Fullerenes: A Blended ChemTEM Imaging and also MALDI-ToF Bulk Spectrometry Approach.
The data presented in this article are related to the research paper entitled "Cuticle ultrastructure of Baiera furcata from Northeast China and its implication in Taxonomy and Palaeoenvironment" (Guignard et al. 2019 [1]. The data correspond to a study of the ultrastructural fine cuticle details of fossil Baiera furcata (Ginkgoales) from the Lower Cretaceous Huolinhe Formation in Holingola of East Inner Mongolia, Northeast China. Two sets of data are provided here 1/ thickness measurements of the layers of four types of cuticles, i.e. ordinary epidermal cells and stomatal apparatus, 2/ ten EDS element analysis of ordinary epidermal cell cuticle layers; the latter data also contain cuticle layers values of Sphenobaiera huangii from the Lower Jurassic Xiangxi Formation in Zigui of Hubei Province, Central China used for comparison in the research article; EDS cell remnant values of Baiera furcata are also included. Some of these data have been used efficiently for taxonomy and palaeoenvironment topics. As they are the first data for genera Baiera and Sphenobaiera of the Ginkgoales, they can serve in the future for considerations of taxonomical comparisons, palaeoreconstructions, palaeoenvironment and evolution.A survey was conducted with 64 respondents to examine the outcomes of participatory fisheries management in Mweru-Luapula fishery, northern Zambia [1]. The survey was complemented by five focus group discussions (FGDs) and two key informant interviews. The study evaluated the performance of Village Fisheries Management Committees (VFMCs), analysed participation of fishers in management activities and assessed fishers' compliance to fisheries regulations. Ostrom's Eight Design Principles and White's Typology of Interests were employed in the analysis of VFMC Performance and Fishers' participation respectively [2], [3]. Descriptive statistics and content analysis were employed to analyse the quantitative and qualitative data respectively. Results show inadequate funding to the Department of Fisheries; capture of benefits and VFMC positions by local elites and weak enforcement of fisheries regulations. A nominal form of participation characterizes the co- management system and resource users are not engaged in decision- making. Besides inconsistent patrols by VFMCs and Department of Fisheries, results further show low compliance to the seasonal fish ban and persistent use of illegal fishing practices within the fishery.Data published in this paper corresponds to a time-lapse ex-situ experiment aimed at analyzing the tension-tension fatigue damage in non-crimp glass-epoxy composites by multi-scale x-ray computed tomography (XCT) of the damage features and their timeline. This is then correlated with the strain fields obtained through digital image correlation (DIC). The XCT - DIC datasets by is acquired by interrupting mechanical fatigue tests at three time-steps, after the material has undergone 0 cycles, 70,000 cycles, 80,000 cycles, and 120,000 cycles. This is one of the first multi-modally correlated datasets available for these types of non-crimp glass fibre composites, which explore the structure-property relationship in a time-dependent behavior. This dataset can be used to explore glass-fibre composites microstructure under a progressive damage scheme and can be used to test and train a plethora of image processing and analysis techniques. This dataset can also be used as an attempt to model the fatigue behavior of quasi-unidirectional non-crimp fibre composites by image-based simulations. This article presents a 60 years wave hindcast from 1958 to 2017, covering the Colombian Caribbean basin. Each output consists on 6-hour field of significant wave height H s , mean wave period T m - 01 , T mm - 10 and mean direction θ m with a resolution of 11.8 km × 11.4 km. The simulation was performed using SWAN model forced with JRA-55 wind fields. Model data is validated against NOAA buoy 42058 located in the central Caribbean. The resolution and time spam of this database allows to perform either coastal engineering projects as well as to perform research in seasonal and interannual wave climate variability including large return periods to evaluate coastal vulnerability.Knowledge management is a vital part of disaster preparedness in reducing the disaster impacts. This article presents data based on a field survey of 200 people in East Lombok, Indonesia. The data taken from the survey is presented to examine how the community utilized the knowledge created and transferred during the preparedness phase into actions during the response phase. JAK activation This article's data can be served as a starting point to examine knowledge management topics in humanitarian operations literature further and to reveal more novel insights from the survey results. This data-in-brief article accompanies the paper "Knowledge management and natural disaster preparedness A systematic literature review and a case study of East Lombok, Indonesia" by Ratih Dyah Kusumastuti, A. Arviansyah, N. Nurmala, and Sigit S. Wibowo. The dataset presents quantitative information on the taxa distribution of calcareous nannoplankton and smaller benthic foraminifera retrieved from the nummulitic accumulation in the Transylvanian Basin (Romania). Until now, only the larger benthic foraminifera and bryozoans were systematically studied, data on calcareous nannoplankton and smaller benthic foraminifera are scares. Our data comprise of quantitative information on the calcareous nannoplankton and smaller benthic foraminifera (raw individuals counts, relative abundance), diversity indices, benthic foraminifera dissolved oxygen index - BFOI and normalised data (ARCSIN values) used for clustering and principal component analysis. These data provide information on paleoenvironmental changes in the north-western part of the Transylvanian Basin during the middle Eocene (Bartonian) and can be used in any comparative study on the reconstruction and paleoenvironmental interpretation of the nummulitic carbonate reservoirs from Tethyan regions. The present data article is associated with the research paper "In the shadow of giants Calcareous nannoplankton and smaller benthic foraminifera from an Eocene nummulitic accumulation (Transylvanian Basin, Romania)" by Bindiu-Haitonic et al. 2021 [1].
