We firstly demonstrated that CDKN2A-AS1 bound directly with the SOSTDC1. CDKN2A-AS1 downregulated the expression of SOSTDC1, but upregulated the expression of BMP2/4/7, SMAD1/5/9, and p-SMAD1/5/9. CDKN2A-AS1 promoted the proliferation, migration, invasion of EOC cells and tumor growth in vivo, whereas SOSTDC1 inhibited the proliferation, migration, invasion of EOC cells. Knockdown SOSTDC1 rescued the inhibitory effect of si-lncRNA CDKN2A-AS1 on the EOC cells proliferation, migration and invasion. These results demonstrated that CDKN2A-AS1activated the BMP-SMAD signaling pathway by directly bind with SOSTDC1 to promote EOC tumor growth. CDKN2A-AS1/SOSTDC1 axis may provide a novel therapeutic strategy for EOC treatment.
Anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) inhibitors are widely known to contribute to the long-term survival of
-rearranged non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. Based on clinical trial data, treatment with second- or third-generation ALK inhibitors can be initiated after crizotinib therapy without analyzing resistance mechanisms, and some randomized trials have recently shown the superiority of second- or third-generation ALK inhibitors over crizotinib as the initial treatment; however, the optimal treatment for patients who relapse while on second- or third-generation ALK inhibitors is not well-defined.
This review provides an overview of the mechanisms of resistance to second- or third-generation ALK inhibitors that have been identified in both clinical and pre-clinical settings, and introduces strategies for overcoming resistance and discusses ongoing clinical trials.
The comprehensive elucidation of both
-dependent and
-independent resistance mechanisms is necessary to improve the prognosis of patients with
-rearranged NSCLC. Liquid biopsy to clarify these mechanisms of resistance might play an important role in the near future.

The purpose of the current integrative review was to examine recovery from AUD in adult Alcoholics Anonymous® (AA) members working the 12 steps. Databases were searched using a combination of search terms with inclusion criteria of human adult studies published in English between 2010 to 2020. Searching the references of retained records also identified other relevant studies for inclusion. Through the process of two searches and examination of retained records' reference lists, 20 articles were retained. AA outcomes frequently cited are abstinence, improved self-efficacy, improved psychosocial well-being, and improved social networks. These positive outcomes are linked to attendance and participation in AA. There is a deficiency of research specific to how AA works to achieve the ascribed outcomes. This identified gap in the state of the science lays the foundation for future research. [Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health Services, xx(xx), xx-xx.].The current article describes the work of an inpatient child psychiatric hospital in creating a treatment intervention in which parents learn about mitigating suicide risk for their child at home and are coached through the process of making changes in the home before the child's discharge. For simplicity, children and adolescents are referred to as children, the adults caring for children after discharge are referred to as parents, and the places children are discharged to are referred to as home. [Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health Services, xx(xx), xx-xx.].The current study aimed to investigate the influencing factors of acute stress disorder (ASD) in frontline nurses delivering care in a hospital for COVID-19 in Wuhan, China. In this cross-sectional study, 298 frontline nurses were surveyed during the first month of direct care delivery for patients with COVID-19 via the Stanford Acute Stress Reaction Questionnaire, Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire, and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support. Through logistic regression analysis, we identified the influencing factors of ASD. Our results showed that 13.8% of participants had ASD; frontline nurses were affected by ASD symptoms in different degrees; higher perceived social support from friends and colleagues were the major protective factors of ASD; and a negative coping style was a risk factor for ASD. Psychological crisis management interventions aimed at frontline nurses may be essential to prevent ASD during public health crisis events. [Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health Services, xx(x), xx-xx.].The current study was performed to determine whether there is a relationship between nomophobia (i.e., fear of being without a mobile phone or disconnected from mobile phone communication) levels and anxiety among healthy young individuals and whether nomophobia affects work or academic life. Three hundred sixty young individuals with no health problems were included in the study. The Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q) and Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) were used to measure participants' nomophobia levels. There was a statistically significant relationship between NMP-Q and BAI scores in the male group. As NMP-Q scores increased, BAI scores also increased. However, we could not find such a relationship in the female group. PD0325901 clinical trial We have shown that individuals who do not have their mobile phones with them experience anxiety that affects their work and/or academic life. Efforts should be made to raise awareness of nomophobia, which concerns not only individuals but society as a whole. [Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health Services, 59(8), 23-30.].The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has strained the health system worldwide. Nurses caring for patients with COVID-19 reported experiencing significant work-related stress and anxiety. The current online descriptive cross-sectional correlational study aimed to investigate work-related stress and anxiety among nurses caring for patients with COVID-19. Data were collected from 240 nurses using the Stress Overload Scale and Self-Rated Anxiety Scale. Average stress and anxiety scores were 34.96 (SD = 5.85) and 52.8 (SD = 5.48), respectively. Statistically significant differences were found in mean stress overload and anxiety scores based on gender, professional title, average working hours per week, working area, and presence of fear of being infected with COVID-19. These findings suggest the need to promote well-being in nurses and assist nurses and other health care workers experiencing mental and psychological health problems in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
