The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. The mop sped along on its flat side and swung up when it was near carpets or rug.

The docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dust bin and refills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 cleaning sessions, but this will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.

The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. For this, you'll need to rinse out the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-1 robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning needs. Its mopping capabilities are also quite good with a pair of spinning mop pads that are able to lift and scrub floors instead of dragging the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station as needed.

3. Dreame X40 ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It has fantastic cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a contender for our list of the top robot vacuums and mop.
