Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using a specialized app to save your home's maps, set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, and how much water your mop uses.
A mapping function can help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles prevents it from running over wires, furniture or other toys. These features are vital in my home that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, so it naturally comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and can even raise its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by finding pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested to date. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its position, which prevents it from getting stuck on a surface.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad of over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also features an automatic mop lifting system which lifts the pad when it goes from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be rinsing and drying in the dock. robot vacuum hoover will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop and vac-settings for around 160 minutes before it began to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
This is a very robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being that it's expensive. But its abundance of features makes it a appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to go away from their old stick vacuums and mop. If you can afford the cost we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. Its high-end price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the house. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of debris from any type of floor and was able to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced multi-functional docking station. The dock empties its dustbin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank for mopping, and dry its mop pads for you. It also has a real-time hazard detection system and lets you schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing stubborn stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit, dustbag, and water tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are purchased separately, must be replaced regularly too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a smaller budget, I suggest considering a less basic model that allows you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to remember that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can purchase, its high purchase cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire than a need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your hard floors. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power as well as a massive battery capacity to power mopping and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It has a roller-mop that cleans itself and makes it stand out among other models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of fresh Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and then pumped into a larger storage canister. The tank onboard can hold a substantial amount of water, and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
Like many robot vacuums and mop combinations like the S1 Pro is ready to roll out of the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do by cleaning the dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to opt for this feature you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your personal cleaner of choice.
The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. It sat on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides many functions at a a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum, but it still has some amazing features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, as well as cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is quite dense, offering a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean every area that is mapped by this device or select specific rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've developed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
The Qrevo performed well during our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system is efficient, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning in an organized way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a room, leaving no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too, though it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick however it won't always detect small things like rug tassels or electrical wires.
The one glaring flaw of this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be a problem for people who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's an easy solution: the app has an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you use the mopping function of the vacuum to get rid of the last traces of debris and dust that are left behind by the vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum to clean up a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
