20 Questions You Should Always To Ask About Best Robotic Mop And Vacuum Before Buying It
Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customised using a specialized app to save maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate around rooms, while an obstacle avoidance function helps it avoid hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These features are vital for my home filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it naturally comes with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in one session, and it can even lift its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from getting too wet. It can also avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested up to now. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can provide constant pressure to the pad of more than 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has an automatic mop lifting system, which lifts the pad as it moves from tile to laminate hardwood, carpet and rugs to avoid getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

In addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can put it away and forget about it, only having to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and returned to its base for a recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only downside is that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features makes it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you are able to justify the cost we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combination. The premium price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my testing it was able to perform very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and able to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and an effective dose of cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's most significant selling point is its innovative docking station that is multi-functional. automated vacuum cleaner docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, then refills the water tank to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance in comparison to the other hybrid mops I tested. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads that are sold separately will require replacement every few months.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a budget, I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. It's important to remember that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can purchase however, its cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet mess then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered robovac and mop combo packs a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity for both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It has a roller-mop that cleans itself which makes it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire width of the robot, and it is constantly supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes, or swept up into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the heater elements of the tank and emptied into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds a decent amount of water and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro needs to be refilled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you opt for this option however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a space and was able to navigate around furniture. It sat on carpets with longer piles several times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, but it still has some amazing features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it goes. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of an area before it has to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair from carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then clear everything that's been that the device maps, or you can pick specific rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've created. There are a number of mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors of the mops to find the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, like the other Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system works well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting is excellent at covering a space, with no gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well too, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify the dangers of carpets that are thick however it won't always recognize smaller things like rug tassels or electrical wires.

This machine has one major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's a good solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. The vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its competitors with lower prices.
