12 Companies That Are Leading The Way In Robot Vacuum Deals
Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've always wanted to buy a robot vacuum now is the time. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is impressive. robot vacuum cleaner replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its most notable innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It makes use of AI to identify objects such as charging cords and shoes. It's the first robot to send you pictures of the objects that it encounters, so you can instruct the robot to avoid it.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop that we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly leaving no trace it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app, which allows you to schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop by speaking to it.

Its design is also an improvement over the rest with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying, which is great for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to pick up and remove dust, dirt and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it around the floor. It even was able to capture sand and small gravel that other robots couldn't do. And all of this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.

The j7+, though not as intelligent as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot and can't clean the stairs, it's an option for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not expensive, and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly.

While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to tell if they are working until you see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the best choice. This kind of robot usually includes a built-in water tank that allows them to vacuum and mop your house at the same time. These bots also come with a variety of extra features such as smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They are expensive at full retail but often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock produces some of our most loved robotic vacuums and the Q5+ doesn't perform to the standards. This is the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't come with some of the expensive features (like no-go zones and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent choice for those who are willing to make some compromises to save a few dollars.

The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it a great option for homes with many furniture pieces. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a place where many cheaper robot vacuums can really fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is also top-quality, with a few misses along walls and in corners.

The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled with a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. The app allows you to start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas or adjust your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-empty dock designed specifically to make this robot simple to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively easy. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful when setting up schedules and changing settings. This feature isn't necessary for most people but it can help you to keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and features are some of the best on the market however it's expensive.

The base station looks nice and is easily hidden when not in use, and its size is relatively compact. But the station's main selling point is how it automates many tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive, too. It's the only robovac that I've tested that does an excellent job of removing debris from bare floors. It's also not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

But the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robot vacuums. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the house. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as competitors, and it doesn't have a dock that lets you to create an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for plush carpets.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who want an automated vacuum that can do it all.

If you're looking to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are many alternatives available. A lot of eufy models are considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is less expensive and has more features, including stair climbing and a full-function Dock, with a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors carpets with low pile, and even high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac g30

eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of making robot vacuums that strike a good balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors as well as carpets and mopping function too at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up, just connect one of the side brushes, turn it on and connect the charging dock. The app walks you through a few steps to connect it to Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. The dock will need to be located near an outlet with enough space to move.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise and can be placed under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. The design is less ostentatious than some rival models, and features sleek black finish and three physical buttons such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs a space in a spiral pattern for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.

The primary aspect that makes the G30 apart from its competitors is the way it cleans. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of the immovable objects in its path while retaining what it's cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. When it's time to recharge, it returns to its base and resumes cleaning where it began.

The elegant G30 has its flaws however. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, has a similar battery life, and performs better on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't need to be empty as often and comes with an array of boundaries to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and is less prone to suffocating heavy materials such as cereal.
