Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your time to own a robot vacuum. CNET's best-rated models will be available for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with discounts up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with apps-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba J7+, iRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. Its biggest innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection technology. It uses AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you a photo of the object it comes across to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt effortlessly while leaving no trace it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app that allows you to schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't clean areas you do not want it to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off using your voice.
The design is also better than the other models. It has a sleek, high-end piece that resembles a toy rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System is also self-emptying which will cut down your cleaning time.
In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location rather than sending it scattering around the floor. It was able capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a bit of grit. Most robots can't do this. And all this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.
While best site 's not quite as smart as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent choice for those who require both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
Although the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that work with robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and sometimes it's difficult to know whether the update is functioning until you've seen it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors, a hybrid is the ideal choice. These bots are equipped with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum at the same time. They also come with many additional features like smart mapping and small object avoidance and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. They're expensive at retail, but they often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock is the manufacturer of several of our top robotic vacuums and the Q5+ does not fail to impress. This is the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't come with some of the luxurious features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) but it's an excellent choice for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like tables and walls, which makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where many robot vacuums that are less expensive do not excel in. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb and has very few missed corners and on walls.
The Q5+, like other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go areas or adjust your home map, or change the room's label.
If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make the machine easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once it's in place, emptying the bin is simple. It comes with a huge LCD screen which is helpful for setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This feature isn't essential for everyone, however it can help you to keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design and features are some of the best on the market however it's expensive.
It's a small base station that looks beautiful and is able to be concealed when not in use. The main reason to buy the station is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot charged and clean.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tested that does a really good job of picking up debris on unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means that it could get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It's also not able to climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a docking station to create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need an automated vacuum that can do it all.
If you're looking to save some cash or don't want to think about the limitations of this machine There are many other options available which include a variety of eufy models priced considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and offers a similar in-app experience with additional features such as stair climbing, a full-function dock, and better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac g30
Eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums that have the right balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning of hard and carpeted floors, as well as mopping functions for a low cost. It's easy to set up by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. It is recommended to keep the dock close to an electrical outlet and ample space for it to move but.
The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise, which means it will fit under many sofas and other furniture with low clearance. Its design isn't as ostentatious compared to some rival models. It features a sleek black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral fashion over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.
The way the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its rivals. It uses a built-in mapping to create an image of non-movable objects that are in its path and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. When it needs to recharge, it automatically returns to its base and resumes cleaning where it left off.
The eufy G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better constructed, has lower recurring costs, is charged more quickly and has the same battery life while offering superior performance on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as often and comes with a set of boundary strips to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30, however is more affordable and a lot more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and is less prone to suffocating bulky materials like cereal.
