7 Easy Tips For Totally Making A Statement With Your Robot Vacuum Deals
Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever thought of buy a robot vacuum now's your chance. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its most notable advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. It uses AI to detect objects like charging cords and shoes. It's also the first robot to automatically send you photos of an object it encounters to let you know to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop we've ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't vacuum in areas that you don't would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it by voice.

Its design is also an improvement over the rest with a sleek top piece that looks more like a toy robot than a loud, obnoxious one. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ swiftly eliminated dirt, dust and hair from pets. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one place instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able to capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots can't accomplish this feat. It did all this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.

Although it's not as efficient as the $1,217 iRobot Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum, and it's not able to clean stairs, the j7+ is still an excellent option for those who require both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and often it's difficult to tell if the update is actually functioning until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors A hybrid is the best choice. These robots come with a water tank so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. These bots also come with various additional features like smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. They're costly at full retail but often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is one of our most loved robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's their cheapest auto-empty model, and although it doesn't have some of the premium features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing compromise a bit in order to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeable gentle around obstacles like tables and walls which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture. It is also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a area where many robot vacuums that are less expensive fall short. The Q5+'s navigation system is also top-quality, with a few misses on walls and corners.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled with a handful of buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. With the app you can start and stop cleaning and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock designed specifically to make this robot easy to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once in place, emptying the bin can be done without difficulty. It comes with a huge LCD screen which is helpful when setting up schedules and changing settings. This feature isn't necessary for everyone, however it can help you to keep the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's astonishingly smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design is among the top in the market however, it's costly.

Its base station looks good and is easily hidden when not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. But the station's main selling feature is the way it automatizes many tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot clean and charged.

Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tested that do very well at cleaning up debris from plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robotvacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It can't navigate stairs as well as some competitors, either, and it doesn't have a dock that lets you to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets that are soft.

While it doesn't offer as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app or as many shortcuts within the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for a comprehensive mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the premium price tag.

If you're looking to save some cash, or just don't care about the limitations of this robotic there are many other options available which include a variety of eufy models for significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example, is cheaper and offers a similar in-app experience with more features, including stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors and low and high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of creating robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between performance, features and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning on hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a reasonable price. It's simple to set up by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn on and plug in the charging dock. The app walks you through the steps needed to connect to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be placed near an outlet and have enough space to move.

The G30 is a compact device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it will fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces of furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious in comparison to other models. It has a sleek black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes), Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. best rated robot vacuum is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The main feature that sets the G30 apart from most competitors is the way it cleans. It uses an integrated map to create a picture of the immovable objects in its path. It keeps track of the items it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. When it needs to recharge, it returns to its starting point and begins cleaning where it left off.

The elegant G30 isn't without faults however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better built, incurs lower recurring costs, charges faster and offers similar battery life while offering superior performance on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require as much emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 however is less expensive and a lot easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and is less prone to suffocating bulky materials like cereal.
