Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using a specialized application. You can save your home's maps and organize cleaning schedules, and select mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, as well as how much water your mop uses.
A mapping feature helps your robot navigate around rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These features are essential in my house filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep in one session and even raise its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from getting too damp. It also can avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in an intense clean. It also comes with mop lifter that lifts the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, to prevent soaking soft surfaces.
In addition it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad is capable of rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can just put it away and forget about it, only having to change the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal mop and vac settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
This is a highly robust and well-rounded product with the only downside being that it's pricey. But its abundance of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to ditch their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that gyrate. It also comes with an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my tests, it did very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed well, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its innovative multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dries its mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mops I tested. In addition it's not as adept at removing staining that is as strong as those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit, dustbag, and water tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads that are sold separately will also require changing regularly.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a budget, I suggest an easier model that will allow you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even if the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can purchase but its high cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to tidy up mess and clean dirt off your floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo comes with a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. It is also equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It even has an automatic mop that cleans itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean in order to clean the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big contrast to the microfiber pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller is almost full width of the bot, and it is constantly filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro dumps mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and empty into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water, and can handle up to a half dozen mopping session before running out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. robot vacuum uk will need to be refilled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands allowing users to select their own choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a few times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests however this can be fixed when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers lots of features at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop, but it still has several impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning up a significant portion of an area before returning to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of removing debris and pet hair on carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is quite extensive, and provides many options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate an entire map and clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've set up. There are a number of mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient way to tidy your home as it maps the area.
Like all the Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat manner. The default pathing setting does a great job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well, however it's not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like thick carpets but might not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires and rug tassels.
One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option which could be a problem for people who do a lot of vacuuming before cleaning their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple solution: the app offers an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to remove the last traces of debris and dust that are left behind by the vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot clean a little better than its competitors with lower prices.
