One of the leading causes of the occurrence of chronic bacterial prostatitis (CBP) in men is infection, microecological disorders of the urogenital tract and cytokine-mediated mechanisms of inflammation of the prostate gland, which actualizes a comprehensive study of the clinical and bacteriological features of CBP from the perspective of a symbiotic approach in the framework of a new scientific field - "infectious symbiology".
to study the characteristics of spermogram, microbiota, and the cytokine profile in men with chronic bacterial prostatitis (CBP) and CBP complicated by infertility.
A comprehensive study of patients with CBP and CBP complicated by infertility, in comparison with conditionally healthy individuals, was conducted. Species identification of microorganisms was carried out according to biochemical characteristics and the genetic method (sequencing of strains). The biological properties of the microbiota were evaluated growth properties, biofilm formation, antipeptide activity against tn and their fertile activity.
The study of the antipeptide activity of microbiota in combination with the cytokine profile of ejaculate allows us to recommend them as a "biotarget" for diagnostic, preventive and therapeutic measures for chronic prostatitis in men, which contribute to solving the medical and social problem of preventing male infertility and contributes to the development of health-saving technologies with incorporating elements of personalized medicine.

The involvement of human papillomavirus (HPV) in male infertility is becoming increasingly evident. There are no approved treatment for male infertility associated with human papillomavirus infection (HPV).
To study the effectiveness of interferon therapy (recombinant interferon -2b with an antioxidant complex of vitamins E and C) in the treatment of male infertility associated with HPV MATERIALS AND METHODS An analysis of the results of a survey of 103 patients aged 28 to 46 years with a diagnosis of infertility associated with HPV was carried out. Ejaculate was assessed in accordance with the WHO recommendations (2010); the amplification method of DNA diagnostics, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), was used to identify the type of virus. The material for the study was ejaculate. Depending on the therapy, the patients were divided into two groups the 1st control group (n=54) - were under observation. Group 2 (n=49) - received treatment with recombinant interferon -2b with an antioxidant complex of vitamins to the presence of HPV in the ejaculate. The more types of HPV present in the ejaculate, the lower the total sperm motility. For the treatment of infertility caused by PVI, it is recommended to use recombinant interferon -2b with an antioxidant complex of vitamins E and C.

Robot-assisted radical cystectomy (RARC) with intracorporeal neobladder formation is a complex surgical procedure.
To describe the main stages of RARC and to analyze its short-term results.
RARC with ileocystoplasty was performed in 16 patients, most of whom were men (n=14). In 15 patients, the indication for surgery was bladder cancer (BCa), while one patient has radiation-induced sigmoid fistula with a formation of small, contracted bladder. During radical cystectomy (RC), the lower ureters were dissected, followed by posterior dissection of the bladder with mobilization from both sides to the pelvic fascia, clipping and transection of the vesical pedicles, and suturing of the dorsal venous complex with urethral dissection. After pelvic lymph node dissection, 40 cm of the ileum was resected, after that two distal segments of 15 cm were U-shaped, and a 1.5 cm incision was made in the lower part of the bowel, followed by a formation of the urethral anastomosis. Then bowel segments were detubularized, ane-invasive BCa. Stepwise approach to RARC with intracorporeal neobladder formation may reduce the operation time and the rate of complications.
RARC is a contemporary minimally invasive method for muscle-invasive BCa. Stepwise approach to RARC with intracorporeal neobladder formation may reduce the operation time and the rate of complications.
Radical prostatectomy (RP) remains the main treatment method of localized prostate cancer. Satisfactory functional results after RP are essential for both urologist and patient. XL177A research buy Preservation of sexual function, particularly orgasmic function (OF) after RP is of the utmost importance today for patients and their sexual partners.
An analysis of 3- and 6-months functional results of 91 patients who underwent RP for prostate cancer is presented in this study. The influence of surgical approach, nerve-sparing surgery (NSS) and other factors for OF recovery was evaluated.
OF recovered in 53,8% and 56% patients 3 and 6 months postoperatively, respectively. Positive influence of younger age and NSS on OF recovery was found.
OF recovered in more than half of patients after RP. The young age, NSS were found to be predictors of RP recovery. Further research is required to determine the more relevant factors for OF recovery after RP.

PET/CT evaluation of the energy metabolism of 18F-FDG in the normal kidney parenchyma, as well as in patients with a newly diagnosed renal hypoplasia or scarring was performed.
Among 30 patients who volunteered to undergo a whole-body PET/CT, in 2 (6.7%) cases an asymptomatic decrease in the kidney size was found.
In the framework of this work, an attempt was made to determine a standard approach to visual and mathematical PET/CT assessment of the energy metabolism of 18F-FDG in the normal renal parenchyma and patients with a newly diagnosed renal hypoplasia or scarring.
The obtained visual and digital data can be used to decide on the feasibility and mapping of a renal biopsy.
