Many Of The Most Exciting Things Happening With Bedside Cot Reviews
Bedside Cot Reviews

A bedside crib, sometimes referred to as a bassinet for babies, is placed next to your bed so that you can safely look after your infant during night feeds and diaper-changing without needing to leave the bed. They are also great for building independence as your little one gets more comfortable in their own sleep space.

The Joie Roomie Glide

The Joie Roomie Glide crib is a bedside crib which allows parents to sleep with their infant while ensuring they are safe to sleep. Its smooth gliding motion will help to calm your baby and its ingenious features allow you to monitor your child without having to leave your bed.

The cot's side panel sliding lifts and lowers with the touch of the button, making it a breeze to reach inside and soothe a crying baby in the night. It also comes with 11 height adjustments that allow it to fit the mattress of almost any size bed and it has adjustable folding feet to ensure it sits at just the right level.

The cot is cushioned and has mesh sides that allow for more ventilation, and its mattress is made of high-density foam to provide extra protection. It's also washable which means you can keep the crib clean. It comes with a fitted bed sheet that can be used for the crib.

Contrary to other cribs that are bedside like the Roomie Glide is suitable for most beds, including divans, thanks to its straps and clip attachment. It can be used as a standalone crib when it is not connected to the bed. It is packed with wonderful features designed with the idea of parent-child bonding in mind.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that even though this crib is great for infants, it will not last long once your little one turns six months old, and you'll need to invest in an additional cot. Overall, Roanna found that the Joie Roomie Glide was a really good buy and she particularly liked its sleek design.

The Roomie Glide is available to purchase from John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna thought was an affordable price for a cot with these innovative features. She liked how it looked in her bedroom and believed its grey color would fit most modern homes. She did point out that it's not a good idea to rock a baby younger because it can create an unfavourable sleep pattern for later.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee bedside crib is designed to ensure a good night's rest. Cots 4 Tots features a drop side rail that can be easily lowered for nighttime feeds without having to disturb your little one or get up - it's ideal for breastfeeding mothers! It's also light, making it easy to move around the house during nap time and for travelling.

We love the fact that it's made from soft materials with mesh sides that are breathable, which promote airflow and comfort. It's available in charcoal and oak and has a variety of melange fabric options that work well with a variety of decor styles. Anna found that it was sturdy and secure once attached to her bed. The legs clicked into place and the zippers were secured to ensure security. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble it and didn't require tools, with clear instructions and a video or customer support number available if you have any issues.

As well as the usual features you'd expect from a bedside crib that include the ability to connect to your existing bed with a stay-in place connection system and six levels of height, the CoZee has an additional incline option that can be used to alleviate reflux or congestion in babies. It is also machine-washable - a must for all the spills, vomit, and snot that come with a newborn baby!

The CoZee is a fantastic option to keep your child close during the first six months of acquiring the ability to sleep independently. It can be used as a cot, changing station and toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa-bed extension kit, it can transform into an actual cot. It won't feed your baby or magically put them to sleep, it will rock them and send them off!

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of Chicco's most expensive models, but it comes with a lot of features. It's designed to function as a side sleeper or a standalone crib and is suitable from birth to six months. It has a new mechanism for opening and closing the side panel, and is easy to use even with one hand. It is also more adjustable than the previous model, with 11 different height settings as well as retractable legs for a secure fit underneath any bed.

Our testers loved the easy access to the side panel that can be lowered and raised with just one push of one button. This was particularly useful during nighttime feedings as they could reach inside and pick up their baby without waking them.

It is possible to lower the side panel it's own, however this is not recommended, because it increases the chance that your child will get out of the cot. The patented safety locking system guarantees that the side panel will only stay down if it is connected correctly to the mattress of the parent. This feature is great for peace of mind if you breastfeed and require frequent night feeds.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be compatible with any bed that is divan-based as well as beds with drawers, thanks to the legs that can be telescopic. It also comes with tilting functions for babies with reflux and a rocking mode to help them sleep after feeding. It's also extremely large and has great ventilation due to its mesh sides.

Our test participants found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, although it comes with lengthy instructions. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers but it can still be easily moved from one room to another. It's small enough to fit into a travel bag when not in use which is a plus when you have to transport it. The only thing our testers have found is that the side panel didn't stretch as much as other models. This caused it to be a bit more difficult to see the baby from your bed.

The Shnuggle Air

If you're in search of an ideal bedside crib that can develop with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth considering. It's designed to be a sleep-co-sleeping bassinet that can be attached securely to your bed but also convert into a stylish cot once your baby is ready, it's ideal for feeding your baby at night and fostering a bond with your infant.

Unlike some other models of bedside cribs, the Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. Its dual-view mesh side panels and airflow mattress that is breathable and hypoallergenic maximise airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle incline helps reduce colic and reflux. The zipper-down side lets you to feed your baby or comfort them during the night.

The kit for conversion to cot is also well-designed, with clear instructions. It includes everything you require. It took us about an hour to put together and was reasonably straightforward. The only downside was the lack of written captions on a few images which made it difficult to understand some of the steps. Overall, it was a straightforward process and the quality of materials used was high.

In co-sleeping mode we found the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent choice for breastfeeding mums and women who have had a C-section as it allows them to easily reach out to their baby to feed and comfort them without having to get up from their own bed. It's ideal for parents who don't want the burden of putting their infant in a traditional cot, or getting them out of it.

The gliding motion was found to be very beneficial in lulling babies into sleep following feedings during the midday or at night. The drop-down side makes it easy to feed or soothe babies during the night. This was a huge selling point for our tired moms who took part in our tests. The Joie Roomie Glide is a modern and stylish crib that isn't rocking, or have extra features such as an audio system.
