12 Companies That Are Leading The Way In Robot Vacuum Deals
Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also self-empties and automatically refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's smartest robot vacuum to date. Its most significant advancement is an obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste many other robots are unable to avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off using your voice.

Its design is also a step above the competition and features a sleek, top piece that looks more like a toy than a loud, obnoxious one. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System also self-empties, which will cut down your cleaning time.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ swiftly eliminated dirt, dust and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one place instead of scattering it around the floor. It even managed to take small gravel and sand that other robots couldn't do. And floor vacuum robot did all this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.

The j7+, although not as sophisticated as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot and can't clean the stairs, is still a good option for those who require both mopping and vacuum. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

Although best vacuums is very easy to use however, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that work with robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and it is sometimes difficult to determine if they are working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, the best choice is probably a hybrid. These machines are equipped with a tank of water so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. They also come with many additional features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the ability to wash and re-dry mopping pads. They're costly at retail, but usually come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. It's their cheapest auto-empty model, and while it lacks some of the features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent choice if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is exceptionally gentle when it comes down to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great choice for homes that have lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is an area that many cheaper robot vacuums aren't able to meet. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is fantastic too, with very little missing in corners and along walls.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled via just a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set up schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map or change the room's label.

If you choose the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver but once in place it can be accomplished with relative ease. It also features an impressive LCD display that is great to have when you're setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This feature isn't required for the majority of people, but it can help effectively keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design is one of the top in the market, but it's expensive.

The base station looks nice and is easily hidden when not in use, and the size is quite compact. The station's most appealing factor is its ability to automate numerous tasks and functions that other robots leave up to you. It can keep clean and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the only robovac that I've used that has done well at picking up debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without flaws, especially in the area of navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs. This means it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the home. It also can't climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a dock to create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great choice for those who want a robot vacuum that does everything.

But if you want to save some cash, or just don't care about the limitations of this machine there are many alternatives on the market which include a variety of eufy models priced considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is less expensive, but offers more features, such as stairs and a fully-function Dock, with a better overall vacuuming experience on plain floors, low-pile carpets and even high-pile ones.

4. Eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums that have the right balance of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning on hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a reasonable price. It's simple to set up, just snap one of the side brushes on, turn it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to place the dock near an electrical outlet and plenty of room to allow it to move around but.

The G30 is a compact device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, so it is able to fit under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious compared to some rival models. It has a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The way the G30 cleans is what separates it from other models. It makes use of an integrated map to create an image of the unmovable items that are in its path. It can remember the items it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning where it left off.

The eufy G30 isn't without faults, though. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower recurring costs. It is faster to charge, has the same battery life and performs better on unfinished flooring or carpet with a low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin that does not require more emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 however is more affordable and is much simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and is less prone to suffocating bulky materials like cereal.
