A Gram-stain negative, aerobic, rod-shaped, yellow-coloured bacterium, designated strain 17J28-1T, was isolated from soil of Jeju Island, Korea. Optimal growth was found to occur at 30 °C, at pH 6.0 and in the absence of NaCl on R2A at 30 °C. Strain 17J28-1T showed resistance to UV-radiation. The draft genome sequence of strain 17J28-1T is 4804,510 bp long with a 49.4% G + C content. Super-TDU order Phylogenetic analyses based on 16S rRNA gene sequences showed that strain 17J28-1T forms a distinct lineage within the family Chitinophagaceae (order Chitinophagales, class Chitinophagia) and is closely related to Cnuella takakiae (93.7% 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity) and Flavisolibacter ginsengiterrae (93.1%). In addition, genomic comparison using digital DNA-DNA hybridization (dDDH) and OrthoANI analyses between the novel organism and the members of the family Chitinophagaceae revealed identities of 65.5-74.1% and 18.1-28%, respectively. The predominant cellular fatty acids were identified as C150 iso, C151 iso G and C170 iso 3-OH and the major respiratory quinone as MK-7. Based on these data we propose that strain 17J28-1T (= KCTC 62223T = JCM 33202T) represents a novel genus and species in the family Chitinophagaceae, for which the name Pseudocnuella soli gen. nov. sp. nov. is proposed.Children's feet are complex structures and strategies for supporting good foot health throughout childhood can be challenging. Greater awareness of the contemporary factors influencing decisions, such as footwear purchases, is needed to inform health narratives which are more closely aligned to parents' attitude and behaviours. The aim of this study was to explore parent's knowledge of children's foot health, understand the common foot health concerns and experiences with footcare services. A purposeful sampling approach was used to recruit parents of children aged 5 years and under. Participants completed a self-administered, online survey which consisted of 39 questions across six sections (1) Participant demographics; (2) Developmental events (milestones such as crawling and walking); (3) Foot health concerns; (4) Developmental aids (products such as baby bouncers and baby walkers); (5) Footwear; and (6) Foot health information. We aimed to evaluate the ability of the LACE index to identify children at risk of frequent readmissions. We analysed data from alive-discharge episodes (1 April 2017 to 31 March 2019) for 6546 males and 5875 females from birth to 18 years. The LACE index predicted frequent all-cause readmissions within 28 days of hospital discharge with high accuracy the area under the curve = 86.9% (95% confidence interval = 84.3-89.5%, p  4 are at increased risk of frequent readmissions by 14-fold. • The cutoff of a LACE index of 4 may be a useful level to identify children at increased risk of frequent readmissions.There are few animal germplasm/gene bank collections in Brazil, and basic studies are needed to attend the future internal and external demands from international partners. The aim of this work was to validate a "proof of concept" that integrates spatial (georeferenced data) and genetic data regarding the local of origin from 3518 DNA samples from 17 different genetic groups or breeds of sheep in the Brazilian Germplasm bank. Spatialisation shows that not all genetic groups have samples in the bank, and collection is concentrated in the conservation nuclei spread nationwide. Only 21% of states with a specific breed have samples in the gene bank. The mean number of animals sampled per collection was 32, while the mean distance travelled to collect samples was 262 km from the conservation nuclei. For example, the Brazilian Somali were only collected in the conservation nucleus in Ceará State. No samples were collected to date for the Cariri breed, which is recognised by the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture. Only two farms and one breed in the bank are from the northern region. Of the 27 states, there are samples in the gene bank of sheep from 13, so several states have no samples, requiring collection from herds outside the official system of conservation to make sure that studies using this germplasm realised are not biased. Significant genetic differences are seen above 332 km, which should guide future sampling efforts. Suggestions are given for improving the quantity, quality and diversity of samples in the gene bank.
Public transportation workers are exposed to higher levels of stress related to accidents, injuries, and person-under-train events when compared to other workers. This systematic review integrates the existing literature on mental health among high-risk public transportation workers to estimate the prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), major depressive and anxiety symptoms following critical incidents while on duty.

This systematic review is part of a larger systematic review which examines mental health and work outcomes of individuals working in professions at high risk of critical incident exposure, i.e., high-risk professions. Articles were included if they measured the prevalence of PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Anxiety Disorder (AD) in a transportation population following exposure to a major incident, for example, a person-under-a-train.

Among the ten articles, all reported prevalence of PTSD which ranged from 0.73 to 29.9%. Four articles reported prevalence of depression among transportation workers exposed to a critical incident and prevalence outcomes ranged from 0.
