Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more capable, acing our tests for cleaning and taking on various floor types. Find models that let you choose between several modes, utilize their charging docks to self-empty and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models integrate with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and also a medium-pile and a large rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and raised itself when it reached carpets or rugs.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills the water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. To do this, you'll need to clean the dirty water tank occasionally to avoid it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an efficient solution to your cleaning needs. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction and offers a number of innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans around furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor rather than simply moving the pad across it. The mops can be dried and cleaned at the base station, if needed.
This robot combination is simple to install and use, with a simple interface that walks you through the process. It also comes with a hand vacuum that can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or refilled. It has a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a great vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are robust, however it does sometimes get hung up on the tiny carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual boundary within the application). The mopping capabilities are quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spin mops that actually lift and scrub floors instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation whenever required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station as required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the best mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping performance of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush which automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that run across baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate tight spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. It is able to move from one room to the next without having to change direction. This is beneficial for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than some competitors and leaves a wide space around obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.
The interface of the app is simple and well-organized. It should be simple to use for novice and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, change suction power and mopping settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It is accessible through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, allowing you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video monitoring. You'll require a stable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of removing dirt and debris, but it can't always get every last piece of dust. That's why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to remove dust from corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. robot vacuum cleaner reviews 's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that both vacuums and mop, is made to do just that. It is easy to connect it to your WiFI network at home and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's pricier S-series models, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it doesn't have mopping capabilities, and also has a plastic body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've seen at this price even though it's not able to clean your floor. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an automatic emptying system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It also has a clever app that lets you select the type of floor and schedule cleanings, and an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also awe-inspiring with 2700Pa of power to take on dust, dirt, and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't show any issues with high-pile carpets or area carpets, but it didn't clean up kitty litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robot vacuums we've tested. robot vacuum cleaners reviews utilizes a unique system to map your home. This will allow it to enter corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. It also stores dust in a bigger dustbin which means you need empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets and increase suction if needed. The app also allows you to mark off areas that you want it to stay clear of this is a useful feature.
