Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using an application that is specifically designed for. You can save maps of your house and organize cleaning schedules, and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.
A mapping function can help your robot navigate through rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into wires, furniture, or stray toys. These are must-have features in my house, filled with strewn-about toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum cleaner, so it's a natural choice to be with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and can even lift its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by finding pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.
Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide an intense clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can set it and forget it, and only need to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank on occasion.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I used it on its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids that I've tried.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only downside is that it's costly. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mops. We highly recommend this model for those who can afford its price.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. best robot vacuum is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capability, as well as two mop heads that rotate. It also comes with a smart, app-enabled controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos available with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the house. It was able to remove 98.4% debris on all types of floors and was able to lift hair that was long without tangling. The mops were also great in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's real highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The dock empties its dustbin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for the mopping function and even dry the mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid mop I tried. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, which are bought separately must be replaced on a regular basis too.
With the L10S Ultra's high-end cost and robust features I would recommend it to anyone who has the money for it. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that lets you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could find however, its price and ongoing maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that can remove dust and dirt on your floors while cleaning up wet mess, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs an impressive 8,000 Pa of suction power and a huge battery capacity to power both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacles-avoiding. It has a mop with a roller that cleans itself, making it stand out among other models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire width of the robot and is constantly supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. While it spins the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water in its base station, where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements, and then it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The onboard tank holds plenty of water, and it can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This can be done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands, allowing users to select their own choice of cleaners.
The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map the area and navigated around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides lots of features at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop, but it still has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction emptying the robot's dirtbag, filling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can clean manually every area that is that this device maps or select specific rooms, an expandable zone or a custom routine you've designed. There are several mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.
The Qrevo performed well during our tests, just like the other Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in an organized way. The 'Normal" pathing option covers a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like thick carpets but may not be able to identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.
The machine has a major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's an easy solution: the app offers a feature that lets you "clean up", at the end of each vacuuming session. You can make use of the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum to clean up a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
