Saat dihamburkan, cahaya berfrekuensi tinggi akan dihamburkan lebih banyak dari pada cahaya yang berada pada frekuensi rendah (cahaya merah berada pada frekuensi rendah dan ungu pada frekuensi tinggi). Tapi langit tidak akan berwarna ungu karena sensitivitas mata manusia terhadap cahaya ungu lebih kecil dibanding cahaya biru. Sehingga yang terlihat adalah warna biru.
4. Karena agar semakin luas, galaksi bima sakti memakan galaksi yang lebih kecil.
5. Dark matter adalah zat gelap yang tidak terlihat yang ada di galaksi bima sakti, yang menyebabkan manusia bisa melihat cahaya bintang saat melewati bumi.
