Single-Ion Anisotropy and also Intramolecular Connections in CeIII and also NdIII Dimers.
The measurement of time needed for selected interventions reveals the huge heterogeneity of home-care service delivery and the difficulty of using a task-based approach to determine staffing levels. Overall, the study shows that currently demand for home-care exceeds supply. Staff shortage puts a risk to home care in Germany. Existing approaches of reimbursement-driven determination of staffing levels have not been sufficient. A new balance between staffing, needs and reimbursement policies needs to be developed. The development of population genomic approaches in non-model species allows for renewed studies of the impact of reproductive systems and genetic drift on population diversity. Here, we investigate the genomic signatures of partial clonality in the deep water kelp Laminaria rodriguezii, known to reproduce by both sexual and asexual means. We compared these results with the species Laminaria digitata, a closely related species that differs by different traits, in particular its reproductive mode (no clonal reproduction). We analysed genome-wide variation with dd-RAD sequencing using 4,077 SNPs in L. rodriguezii and 7,364 SNPs in L. digitata. As predicted for partially clonal populations, we show that the distribution of FIS within populations of L. rodriguezii is shifted toward negative values, with a high number of loci showing heterozygote excess. This finding is the opposite of what we observed within sexual populations of L. digitata, characterized by a generalized deficit in heterozygotes. Furthermore, we observed distinct distributions of FIS among populations of L. rodriguezii, which is congruent with the predictions of theoretical models for different levels of clonality and genetic drift. These findings highlight that the empirical distribution of FIS is a promising feature for the genomic study of asexuality in natural populations. Our results also show that the populations of L. rodriguezii analysed here are genetically differentiated and probably isolated. Our study provides a conceptual framework to investigate partial clonality on the basis of RAD-sequencing SNPs. These results could be obtained without any reference genome, and are therefore of interest for various non-model species.
Trauma- and violence-informed care (TVIC) creates safety by understanding the impacts of trauma on health and behavior, and the intersecting impacts of structural and interpersonal violence. This study examined the impact, 1-2years later, of TVIC professional education.

We conducted a mixed method descriptive follow-up evaluation (online survey, n=67, and semi-structured interviews, n=7) with health and social service providers, leaders and researchers who attended TVIC workshops. Participants were asked how the workshop impacted their thinking, actions and perceptions of organizational changes.

Participants reported greater impact on attitudes than on behaviors. The most common change in awareness and thinking related to better understanding of the links among trauma, pain and substance use. Practice changes included more active listening and empathy, less use of jargon and less judgement in care encounters. Participants linked these practices to better care interactions, and more trust, openness and satisfaction among service users.

Educating health professionals and others (e.g. educators) about trauma, violence, and discrimination is not easy. TVIC education can help shift potentially stigmatizing attitudes which can then precipitate practice change. These approaches are emerging as an important way to improve health and quality of life.

The electrocatalytic urea oxidation reaction (UOR) is one of the promising alternatives to OER, owing to its low thermodynamic potential. However, owing to the sluggish UOR kinetics, its potential in practical use has not been unlocked. Herein, we developed a tungsten-doped nickel catalyst (Ni-WOx ) with superior activity towards UOR. The Ni-WOx catalyst exhibited record fast reaction kinetics (440 mA cm-2 at 1.6 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode) and a high turnover frequency of 0.11 s-1 , which is 4.8 times higher than that without W dopants. In further experiments, we found that the W dopant regulated the local charge distribution of Ni atoms, leading to the formation of Ni3+ sites with superior activity and thus accelerating the interfacial catalytic reaction. Moreover, when we integrated Ni-WOx into a CO2 flow electrolyzer, the cell voltage is reduced to 2.16 V accompanying with ≈98 % Faradaic efficiency towards carbon monoxide.A paradigmatic shift toward postmodern, collaborative practice in family therapy raises questions about how therapists can use professional authority to facilitate change and how clients can assert their knowledge and agency. We used conversation analysis to investigate how the authority to know and to determine here-and-now action (i.e., who does what, and how, in therapy) was negotiated and accomplished in 10 sessions of emotion-focused therapy involving chair work. Therapists were observed to rely on a particular interactional sequence structure stepwise entry into a directive, in which directives were preceded by a question-answer sequence. this website We show how instances where clients' views were elicited prior to the delivery of a directive resulted in different interactional consequences from instances where therapists straightforwardly directed clients to perform some action. The study offers evidence concerning how therapists can facilitate chair work collaboratively and responsively. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of ensiling fruit byproducts on their chemical composition and in vitro ruminal fermentation. Persimmon peel (PP), white grape pomace (WGP), and red grape pomace (RGP) were ensiled for 1, 2, 4, and 8 weeks. Fresh and ensiled PP, WGP, and RGP were used for in vitro rumen fermentation with or without polyethylene glycol (PEG). The non-fiber carbohydrate (NFC) content of the byproducts decreased after ensiling, especially for PP. The total tannin content was not changed after ensiling for up to 4 weeks for all byproducts. However, the soluble tannin content in PP decreased but that in grape pomaces was unaffected by ensiling. Gas production, total volatile fatty acid concentration, and methane production by in vitro rumen fermentation for PP and WGP were reduced by ensiling, and increased by adding PEG, except for gas production from the PP silage. These results indicated that changes in the fractions of carbohydrate and tannins during the ensiling process were different between PP and grape pomace.
