The M12 provides a variety of cleaning modes for vacuuming and mopping. Its innovative design lets the M12 map a space in six minutes and adjusts its cleaning path accordingly. It has some advanced options for modifying the cleaning schedule, such as selecting a specific time to begin and end every cycle, or choosing whether it should vacuum carpets before mopping. It can also be instructed to clean areas which are particularly dirty and also increase the suction power around cat litter boxes and pet food bowls. The X40 Ultra is programmable to perform specific tasks, for example, cleaning the bathroom sink or toilet. The S1 Pro's navigation and maps are outstanding, and the internal dToF LiDAR system allowing it to maintain a low profile while still delivering top-notch objects avoidance. It can be driven close to walls without crashing and avoiding steps, and it can also raise its mop when driving over rugs or carpets with a short pile. However, best robot vacuum struggled with carpets with a longer pile and also several large, thick piles of dried-on debris.

Like most robots like it, the S1 Pro comes ready to come out of the box, and requires only the initial mapping run to figure out how it can navigate your home. The map will be displayed in the app and you can add or join rooms as needed. You can set virtual boundaries, as well as no-go zones if there's something you don't want your robot to be able to touch.
