Pufferfish toxic body coming from Arothron stellatus: The first validated situation inside Indian together with specific Genetic sequencing-based varieties identification.
e., heterosexual, gay, lesbian, bisexual or mostly heterosexual). Analyses were performed separately for men and women. Results Significant differences, specifically with regards to distress and cannabis use were observed across sexual minority status. Specifically, bisexual and mostly heterosexual participants reported poorer mental health outcomes compared with heterosexual participants. The majority of differences observed, however, were explained by variation in demographic variables (age, education, revenue and visible minority status). Conclusion These findings suggest the importance of demographic factors with regards to understanding vulnerability to mental health outcomes among sexual minority adults. Furthermore, the specific vulnerabilities experienced by mostly heterosexual and bisexual participants need to be taken into consideration by mental health professionals. The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for help-seeking is becoming more and more common for adolescents at risk of suicide. Objectives The aim of this current study was to better understand the help-seeking process of adolescents at risk for suicide. Methods A grounded theory methodology was used to describe the experience of adolescents at risk of suicide and gain a deeper understanding of their ICT help-seeking process. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, an ICT help-seeking questionnaire and live observations of ICT help-seeking strategies by the adolescents of this study. Theoretical saturation was reached with a total of 15 adolescents, aged 13 to 17, at risk of suicide. Results The grounded theory that emerged gravitated towards the fact that adolescents chose to virtually deal with emotional drowning. A specific context allowed this central category to emerge and included the adolescents' state, their personal triggers, their social environment as well as their en they were in a state of emotional drowning. These different strategies to virtually deal with their emotional drowning hindered many different consequences which were to grow emotionally, to get help, to get temporary relief, to stay indifferent, to worsen their suicidal thoughts or to attempt suicide. Conclusion Although some negative consequences of ICT emerge from this study, a great deal of the consequences was positive and helpful for these adolescents. Overall, this study shows that ICT offer great opportunities for adolescent suicide prevention. Implications for practice, training and research are further discussed. In late January of 2017, a Québec City-born deranged young man walked into the town's Great Mosque on Sunday evening during a prayer meeting and opened fire on the group of praying men gathered in the main hall, killing six (6), injuring five (5) of them and leaving thirty-five (35) later "rescued" people-men, women and children-behind, in a state of total shock, a municipal first in that quiet, peaceful city's history. The lone gunman's act was targeting a specific cultural community, attacking them in their religious identity and even reaching them in their sense of security and well-being. Psychological crisis intervention was quickly organized following the ordeal and through, notably, the rapid intervention of a same culture, same language psychologist. The identified preliminary general crisis picture was then one of "adaptive stress" along with its transitory symptoms and of" exceeded stress" with its unrelated symptoms and carrying the risk of a build-up resulting in the display of Post-Traumatic Strecial process that gave the victims the much-needed opportunity to express and share their feelings and reactions about the traumatic experience. Recommendations are finally made to use as much as possible a professional of the same culture in the context of the trauma; or to be supervised by the latter to acquire a better knowledge of the culture; or to simply investigate the socio-cultural context and religion of the victims, if these are closely related to the context of mourning and their conception of death.Micellization (formation of wormlike structures) of 3-(N-erucamidopropyl-N,N-dimethyl ammonium)propane sulfonate (EDAS) in the presence of an inorganic salt, iron chloride (FeCl3), in acidic conditions is studied using static and dynamic rheological measurements and small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). Infrared spectroscopy, single crystal X-ray, and UV-visible spectroscopy are used to further investigate the mechanisms of viscosity and elasticity and the enhancement and formation of an elastic gel-like solution induced by Fe3+ in HCl. The nature of the interaction is characterized to be hydrogen bonding between the amide groups of EDAS and coordinated water in trans-[FeCl2(H2O)4]Cl structure. Such an interaction masks the repulsion forces between surfactant headgroups. This screening effect results in the formation of longer wormlike micelles in the solution. The chemical structure of FeCl3 in concentrated HCl was predicted in the literature through theoretical and experimental techniques; however, its crystal structure, including the exact geometry (e.g., cis or trans) and the non-coordinated chloride position is reported for the first time in the present study. The findings of this study show the sensitivity of a sulfobetaine zwitterionic surfactant to pH alteration and inorganic salt.A prototypal molecular Internet of things (IoT) network is reported. Starting from the design of the communication architecture, we have theoretically simulated molecular messenger information exchange by means of fluid-based advection. Dynamin inhibitor The objective was to determine the key experimental parameters affecting information storage and transfer efficiency. The first working molecular-IoT prototype, based on a chemical communication network, was then developed. Its selectivity was ensured by employing as many different chemical messengers as networked devices; thus three different carbon nanoparticles, characterized by different fluorescence wavelengths, were employed to ensure an effective communication between three networked actuators.Ternary PtFeCo alloys as alternatives to conventional Pt electrocatalysts are highly important in the field of the methanol oxidation reaction. In this study, we demonstrate a one-pot two-step reduction method for the synthesis of graphene supported PtFeCo alloy nanocomposites as an integrated binder-free catalyst. The synergistic effect of alloying with Fe and Co as well as graphene decorating contributes to an increase in the utilization of the noble metal, namely, reducing the amount of Pt in the nanocomposites to 7%. After tailoring the elemental composition of the alloys, Pt52Fe29Co19@G-7% exhibits a mass activity/specific activity of 1758.2 mA mg-1Pt/3.42 mA cm-2 that is 3.13/3.45 times that of commercial Pt/C in an acidic medium. Impressively, it showed a superior mass current density of 9356.1 mA mg-1Pt at 60 °C which is close to the operating temperature of direct methanol fuel cells. Moreover, the as-obtained Pt52Fe29Co19@G-7% also exhibited excellent CO tolerance and reliable stability compared to commercial Pt/C.
