The Silver Cross Slumber Bedside Crib Travel Cot
This bedside crib, designed for divan beds, is simple to put together. The instructions are a bit difficult to follow since there is a particular order in which you need to put the pieces in, but MFM testers reported that it was easy to follow once they were used to it.
It can also be folded extremely quickly, compactly and can be tucked away into a travel bag.

The crib is simple to build using poles that you bend to place and a sheet to be able to slide over the mattress. After it's all set and you're ready to put your baby in. Mom tester Emily says it took her a couple of attempts to master the art of assembling it, but once she had it figured out it was fast and simple. Her daughter slept comfortably in it, too.
It comes with a newborn bassinet and a foldable mattress, so it's suitable for babies from the moment of birth. It also comes with a side-zip that allows you to lay on your baby as they sleep, then roll them into the crib and zip up for security. This is a great choice when you're used to cosleeping and are looking to continue it for as long as you can.
The crib can be folded and stored in a bag once you are ready to pack. This is a great idea for traveling. This is a great choice when you're moving or if guests will be staying for several days.

It comes with a ComfortAir air-conditioned mattress that regulates your baby's temperature. It also comes with an optional reflux incline that can help alleviate your baby's reflux. The slim frame was popular with testers at home, since it was able to be attached to the majority of beds. A mom on the BabyCentre Forum warns that this model may not work with certain divan beds because the straps are too long and don't reach the bottom of the mattress.
A mum on the BabyCentre Forum recommends watching a YouTube video before buying this bedside crib. It can be a challenge to assemble. She noted that the instructions were a little confusing, particularly when it came to attaching it your bed. She says it's worthwhile because it's a stunning, sturdy, and easy-to-clean cot.
MFM mum home tester Jasmine loved the way the bedside crib looked in her bedroom and how well it held up to daily use. She also was impressed by the dimensions of the crib, she said it was larger than the size of a Moses basket but not too big. She was able to find bedding for and that the mattress was of a good quality, in contrast to other mattresses she's seen that feel cheap or thin.
It's important to remember that a crib for bed isn't an alternative to a baby sleeping bag or swaddle in the sense that it doesn't guarantee the safety of your baby during sleep. Back To Sleep campaign guidelines recommend that your baby sleeps on their back in their crib or cot. It is also essential to take away any pillows, duvets, or blankets that may hinder your baby's breathing.
Easy to clean
A bedside crib travel cot can allow your baby to sleep comfortably when you're away from home. It lets you keep an eye on your little one while they sleep and gives you a safe space to change their diapers. However, before you buy a crib for your bed, make sure you examine its safety features. A good crib for bedside use should have mesh sides that allow airflow and is easy to clean. It should be easy to move from room to room. A solid frame and a quality mattress are important. The bedding should be able to fit the mattress with a firmness and should not leave any gaps or loose fabrics.
Another thing to consider is the size of your baby's. Some travel cots are bulky. Others fold into a compact shape that can easily be slipped into a suitcase or in the back of your vehicle. Some even come with a carry bag.
Nicola mother tester, liked the CoZee crib bedside and found it easy to assemble. She found the mattress to be very comfortable and lovely however, it was quite heavy compared to some of the other cots she tested. She also said that she appreciated the extra accessories, including the changing unit and the nightlight, even when her son was too old to use them.

The sides fold in and the legs fold down into a compact sack that fits nicely in your car boot or suitcase, making it perfect for weekend trips, daytime breaks, and overnight stays with friends and family. The fabric is strong and machine washed and the mattress is comfortable to the touch. The mattress is a little deeper than most and our mother test participant Kathryn had to bend over to get her toddler ready for bedtime.
It's a bit heavier however it's still very lightweight and compact. It's easy to put together and its four mesh sides offer ventilation and better visibility. It also features a handy changing station, nightlight and music function, although our mum tester Nicola discovered that her daughter Olly did not really appreciate the extra features, and thought they made her work more difficult in the dark.
In addition to the additional accessories, this cot is fairly basic and straightforward in its design, yet it's one of the top available due to its weight and convenience. It is suitable for babies and can easily be converted into an infant travel cot and playpen with a side that opens up to make it easier to access.
