Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient way to quickly clean up messes. The top robot vacuums and mops in my tests have top-notch mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks through an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
If you're looking for the top robot vacuum and mop that has cutting-edge features consider the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This premium vacuum is quick and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It comes with a sleek application interface that includes a mini-map of your home and buttons on the screen to allow manual control.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode based on the level of dirt. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
The mop's roller has a number of other smart features, including a dock that connects to your home plumbing system to wash and clean it without having to manually refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8, you can use voice commands to control rooms cleaning options and granular control using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible choices. It's among the many combinator robot vacuums that include mopping features that are also available at a lower cost than competitors.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This involves establishing an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've done this, the robot will start vacuuming and mops with ease.
It's important to note that the mapping process can take some time and may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate view of your space. The object detection feature is not perfect. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles, however, it got stuck on a looser rug with tassels and needed to turn to get it out of the way. But these are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those who want an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned and not just cleaned. Its detachable stick-vacuum is a game changer that allows you to reach spots even a robotic vacuum can't.
The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa as well as a few additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's environment and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The app's smart feature allows you to customize a number of settings, including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads and empty the dust bins and put the debris in bags that self-seal. This helps to keep the system clean and also prevents allergens from recirculating. Its battery longevity is sufficient to cover large areas without needing a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more top-quality robot vacuums and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It is equipped with powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets and a fantastic obstacle avoidance. It also features an innovative mopping technique that uses a roller constantly misting with water to capture dirt and deposit it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of stairs and navigated close to walls without crashing. It struggled with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also high, so this model may not be as simple to set and forget as other models.
As with most robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in accordance with an established schedule. You can manage all of its functions using the Eufy app. It provides a clear overview and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot vacuum s/mowers available, and offers impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with good precision. The app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, create no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush is designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This is a major problem with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also includes intelligent carpet detection, which lifts the pads up when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to avoid contaminating them.
The docking station is an unmanned maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station features an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust and allows seven weeks of maintenance free operation.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars less than the S8 This robot does a bang-up job at keeping my home office clean and can also take on the corners of my tiny apartment. related resource site makes use of laser mapping and a camera to make an outline of your area, so it knows which areas to avoid. In addition, unlike other vacuums that have mopping capabilities it detects objects and obstructions that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop!).
It also comes with other highlights, such as the self-emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach areas other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets with high-pile rugs. And, if you're looking to cut down on time, it can skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a wide range of flooring options in your home and don't want to spend additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features it is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option if you are looking for a robot that can do both regular maintenance and touch-ups for messy water stains. It comes with a wide range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin and a separate dock for refilling water, as well as adjustable settings through the app. It's surprisingly quiet and can navigate between furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it can't take care of tangled rug tassels and its battery drains faster than other models in our tests.
With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and useful automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it performed very well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the quiet mode with low power' for light debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used even in small areas. It is very fast and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces with ease. It also does a good job of removing pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than most of its rivals, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it can be configured to take a photo of each object it picks up (i.e. chew toys, socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and not tied to you account.
It is capable of vaccuming, but it isn't as good at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes you clip to the bottom of the bot, and then it drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
