Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an application that allows you to save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine-tune how much water and the scrubbing action of your mop.
A mapping function can help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles will stop it from running into furniture, wires, or stray toys. These features are crucial in my home that is filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It's able to mop and sweep in a single session and even raise its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from getting too damp. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vacuum we've tested. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting mechanism, that will raise the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding soaking these types of soft surfaces.
In addition to this, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.
This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I used it on its normal mop and vac settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is at the same level as other hybrids I've tried.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features make it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If robot vacuum hoover can afford the cost we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combos on the market. In my testing it performed well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and a strong dose cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank for mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It also features an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and lets you schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mop I tried. Additionally the mops aren't adept at removing stubborn stains as those found in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be emptied, and the water and dust tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to remember that the mop pads, which are purchased separately, will need to be replaced on a regular basis too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. For those who are on a smaller budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that allows you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can find however, its price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a want than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to tidy up mess and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful robovac and mop combo packs a strong suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity for both vacuuming and mowing and a top-of-the-line obstacle avoidance. It even has an automatic mop that cleans itself as it moves and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean in order to rinse off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept up into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements, and then emptied into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds a decent amount of water and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do most robotic vacuums/mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you do opt for this feature you'll have to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your personal choice of cleaners.
Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing however this could be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum. However, it still has some amazing features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a good bit of an area before returning to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair from carpets.
The app that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually initiate a full map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
The Qrevo performed well during our tests, just like all the Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system is efficient in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in a neat way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well too, but it's not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but may not be able recognize smaller items such as electrical wires and rug tassels.
This machine has one major flaw: it does not offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: The app offers an option that allows you to "clean up" at the end of each session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the last traces and dust that remained after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
