Inanimate memiliki arti benda mati dan Animate ialah benda hidup.
Terdapat 4 bagian golongan dalam mantra ini sendiri, yaitu:
• Inanimate to Inanimate
adalah mantra perubahan dari benda mati ke benda mati lainnya.
Mantra: Scribblifors [Pelafalan: SKRIB-luh-forz], mantra pengubah objek menjadi pena. Warna: Ungu.
Incarcifors [Pelafalan: in-KAR-si-forz], mantra pengubah bentuk benda yang bisa digunakan untuk
menangkap/memenjarakan musuh
Diminuendo [Pelafalan: dim-in-YEW-en-DOUGH], mantra mengubah target menjadi menciut atau
mengecil seperti boneka. Warna: Putih.
• Animate to Animate
• Inanimate to Animate
Ialah mantra perubahan benda mati menjadi makhluk hidup. Praktek transfigurasi ini agak sulit, sebab mengubah benda menjadi bernyawa memiliki resiko. Angka kematian objek relative kecil, tidak menutup kemungkinan ketika tikus/burung menjadi objek transfigurasi kembali ke bentuk semuka mereka berhenti bercicit atau berkoak. Karena adanya beberapa syaraf yang hilang/gagal bertransformasi kembali.
Mantra: Lapifors [Pelafalan: LAP-ih-forz], mantra pengubah objek kecil menjadi kelinci. Warna: Pink.
Avifors [Pelafalan: AH-vi-fors], mantra pengubah objek kecil menjadi sekumpulan burung. Warna:
Biru elektrik.
Draconifors [Pelafalan: drah-KOH-nih-fors], mengubah patung naga menjadi naga asli bernafaskan
api. Warna: Merah menyala. Gerakan Wand: Menyentakkan wand ke arah target.
