Favourable changes in the studied biomarkers suggest a similar beneficial influence of Lact. plantarum KC28 on the alleviation of obesity comparable with that of the two well-studied probiotic strains, LGG and 299v. This probably resulted from a modulation in the cecal microbiota of the IF group by either probiotic strain, yet in a different manner, showing a highly significant increase in the families Desulfovibrionaceae and Lactobacillaceae only in the group receiving Lact. plantarum KC28.Lactoferricin (Lfcin) is a potent antibacterial peptide derived from lactoferrin by pepsin hydrolysis. It was hypothesized that structural transformation of Lfcin could affect its antibacterial function through forming and breaking of intramolecular disulfide bond. To prove this hypothesis, bovine Lfcin (bLfcin) and its two derivatives, bLfcin with a disulfide bond (bLfcin DB) and bLfcin with a mutation C36G (bLfcin C36G), were synthesized, purified, and identified. The circular dichroism (CD) spectra of the peptides were detected in solutions with different ionic and hydrophobic strength. Then, the secondary structure contents of the peptides were calculated on the basis of the CD spectra. The antibacterial activity of the peptides against Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Salmonella typhimurium ATCC 14028, Shigella flexneri ATCC 12022, and Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 was evaluated. The results showed that bLfcin and bLfcin C36G had similar percentages of secondary structure in water, while bLfcin and bLfcin DB had similar ratios of secondary structure under less hydrophobic conditions. The synthetic peptides exhibited antibacterial activity against all the tested bacteria, except for S. aureus ATCC 25923. bLfcin demonstrated higher antibacterial activity compared with its derivatives. The results suggested that bLfcin could transform its structure under alterative ionic strengths and hydrophobic conditions, and the transformation of structures was beneficial to enhancing the antibacterial function.This study evaluated three isoniazid-based N-acylhydrazone derivatives (HL1, HL2, and HL3) varying their substituting groups (-H, -N(CH3)2, and -NO2) as potential chemosensors for Zn2+ ions. #link# To this end, the absorption and emission properties of these derivatives were investigated in the presence of Zn2+ ions. Results point to the derivative HL2 as the best chemosensor for Zn2+ ions because of its comparatively higher sensitivity. The color of this derivative changed from colorless to strong yellow with zinc addition, as indicated by the shift in UV-vis spectrum. Moreover, HL2 was the only derivative to emit fluorescence in the presence of Zn2+ ions, attributable to PET inhibition and bond isomerization promoted by coordination with this metal. LOD, LOQ, and binding constant values for HL2 + Zn2+ were 0.43 μmol.l-1, 0.93 μmol.l-1, and 5.04 × 1012 l.mol-1, respectively. The fluorescence of HL2 with other metal ions (Fe3+, Mg2+, Na+, Cd2+, Cu2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Ca2+, and K+) was also investigated. Zn2+ yielded the best result without Cd2+ interferences. Job's Plot showed that the stoichiometric ratio of the complex formed by HL2 and Zn2+ ions is 21 (ligandmetal). This paper reports a new type of rubber-spring float track (RSFS), which adopts a well-designed rubber-spring vibration isolator and is conceptually designed as a float track structure. The dynamic performance of different track structures, namely RSFS track, fixed slab track, and transition section, were studied. Vibration response of the car body and the track structure was obtained. Internal noise from the train and external noise near the tracks were also recorded. The results show that the measured track structures can ensure the safety of train operation. Compared with the fixed plate track, the RSFS track has a good vibration isolation effect, and the RMS vibration reduction at the tunnel wall was 15.1 dB. However, it amplifies the vibration above the isolation layer and slightly increases the internal noise of the train. To this end, a geo-database from infected cases, deaths, total population, death-to-population ratio, and infected case-to-death ratio for 31 provinces of Iran and during seven successive periods of February 18-March 19 (P1), March 20-April 8 (P2), April 9-April 28 (P3), April 29-May 20 (P4), May 21-June 20 (P5), June 21-September 21 (P6), and September 22-October 21 (P7) of 2020 was built. Based on the last reports of the population and housing census (2018), Iran is home to 81.8 million people. Nationwide case series of 536,181 and 29,403 infected cases and deaths respectively with COVID-19 were reported to Iran's Minister of Health from February 18 to October 21, 2020. Of the infected cases, 5.48% have died. The spatiotemporal patterns of COVID-19 were different throughout the 31 study provinces. Firstly, the central, north, and northwest of Iran were the main hosts of this virus.
