It features a drop-side rail that is able to be easily lifted to feed your child in the evening without disturbing them or causing them to get out of bed. This is great for breastfeeding mothers! It's also lightweight, which makes it easy to move around the house during naps and for travelling.

It's made of soft materials and features mesh sides that breathe to increase airflow. It is available in charcoal or oak and a variety of melange fabrics that will blend with most decor styles. Anna found it sturdy and secure when attached to her bed with the legs securely clicking into the bed and the zips secured to ensure safety for babies. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble it and didn't require tools, with clear instructions and a video as well as a customer support contact number should you have any issues.

Our testers were impressed by the ease of use offered by the side panel which can be moved upwards and downwards with just a single push of a button. This was particularly useful during nighttime feedings as they could reach inside and pick their baby up without disturbing them up.

The side panel can be lifted by itself, but it's not recommended as this increases the chance of your baby falling out of the cot. The patented safety locking system ensures that the side panel will remain in place when it is connected correctly to the mattress of the parent. This is a great feature to have for peace mind, especially if you're breastfeeding and require frequent night feeds.


Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, including divan bases or beds with drawers. It comes with a tilting function to help reflux babies, and an option to rock to calm them after a meal. It's also very spacious and provides excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.
